    Bedside. Boyfriend tucked me in as he does quite often. Will probably see him about 5 times in the middle of the night as am bound to have Stranger Things nightmares. Hope they are as gentle as last nights when I dreamt was being attacked by tea bags strung together like bunting.....

    I'm still undecided also,had the Fianna fallers last night,the only callers so far,think I annoyed her more than she annoyed me,I'm mot a bit political but I'm very interested in this election for some reason..I'm definitely not going Fine Gael purely because of Darragh Murphy and also swing-gate,I do like Mehole on a personal level but I hate paying so much tax and despise paying USC as it was meant to be temporary...I'll sleep on it lol.

    Bedside, absolutely wrecked tired.

    Ooh thank you all , I'll have enough leaflets to make fuel out of them instead of firelighters :D

    Not that I want to be beating them all away from the door or anything , but it's as Seph said , if they want our votes , the least they could do is make an effort to call .

    Count your blessings Mam... I'm tripping over them here, at the door, running into them (literally, like oof, in one case) on the street. Was raised to be polite and nice(ish) so find it hard to be curt / rude/ or 'eff someone out of it in real life, so I invariably end off smiling at them silently like a complete goon and then feeling unclean for the rest of the evening :(

    Couchside and puzzled as I am not enamoured with where the country is going but every "who is your most closely aligned candidate" quiz/check I take online ends up Fine Gael/Social Dem/Labour. FFS. What's a girl to do :pac:
    Random aside: the American side of me was raised to NEVER discuss politics in public, but weeks like this I do at least like to think well thank *%^k I landed on the Irish side of my US-Irish roots... Could be worse my friends... y'all could be living in Trump-land

    Couch side at home, flaked after yet another very hectic day work wise.

    Also feeling quite angry and upset after effectively being blamed for a cock up over the planning for an upcoming seminar the new head of my faculty made, followed up by an email from him just before I finished work this evening effectively telling me that I was responsible for this “big problem” (his words) that might “compromise the integrity” of the faculty.

    Think I may have to put all our email correspondence on record from this point on, for my own protection...
