Bedside, watched the debate, alarm set for 6.45am,I'm in weird form, lots of small stressful things at the moment that are going around constantly in my head but nothing major so I feel bad for feeling bad if that makes sense.
Hump day tomorrow already, the weeks are flying by , really noticed the stretch in the evenings today and this morning was a little brighter going to work, it's all good.

Take a shot at my beloved Scandi detective stories though and feck. I will have to put you on ignore.

    :pac:

There a Finnish one called karppi on Netflix, I only watched it to hear the language & look at the scenes, cos I kinda miss it.
    Bit far fetched, but enjoyable

On deaths door. Okay that might be a bit dramatic but I feel awful. Think I’ll get a cert for college tomorrow, I really don’t feel well enough to go in :(

At the movies, 1917. Love it when they have 9am shows.

Heading to work, nice morning out.
Nothing to worry about on my agenda today and I feel relaxed.
    Have a good day all.

Beside. I had some seriously intense dreams last night! Shooting and chasing! 1917 clearly had an influence.

The apartment seems cold so I’m gonna stay here as long as I can.. :D

    Morning folks.
Starting to feel human again after a miserable few days laid low with cold and aches and pains.
Having porridge and coffee to set myself up before heading workside.
Have a good day everyone :)

    G'morning all
Home getting ready to go and do a few jobs. In the most optimistic mood, thanks to the warmth, sunshine and the very evocative sound of wood pigeons and doves cooing which speaks of summer to come. Enjoyed watching a fat bright orange-breasted bird blundering around in the tree outside the window.

Yes, I've noticed the birdsong is very vocal this morning. We have bird feeders at the back of the office and it's unusually not very populated today, but I was walking to the shop for some supplies and there was a fair chatter and chirrup going on.

    Home and off today.

It should be illegal for work to contact you when you're off, my phone hasn't bloody stopped.

Plans to chill went out the window at 8am this morning.

Plans for the day, throw the phone out the window and relax with my Kindle.

It's missing it's finest ingredient these days though...me!

    Couchdeskside working.

Want to watch the leaders debate but since I can't get home to vote I will be angry and impotent. Hate impotence.

Oooh looks like a building near me is on fire..... going on balcony topless to investigate.

Edit: looks like 3 different buildings but no flames. I know they kill bugs using clouds that look like smoke but that seems an awful lot for small buildings.

On the way to a colleagues mothers funeral. His father died last night so will be doing this journey again in a day or two.

    That is SERIOUS BS!!!!

Deskside, Faith No More rattling the walls today :D My New York trip is off the cards as I have to go to Washington DC for work the same week according to an email I got this morning.. on the upside the Smithsonian has the 89 Batmobile!!!! To say I am excited about seeing that is an understatement! As a Batman nut, it has always been my favourite batmobile.

Dskside at work, another crazy day of a whirlwind of things to do...emails to respond to, people to meet etc.

Really looking forward to my day off on Friday. That will be a do sweet FA day!

@Makkikomi - I have a very strict rule whereby I will not respond to - or even look at - work related emails, texts or calls on my time off work. Work and home life have to be kept compleely sparate or else your boss or colleagues etc will be hounding you day and night. I know this as I've been there before and it wore me out and cuased a mountain of stress.

Tell your work that you will not be taking any calls in your home and leisure time.

@bubblypop- that is just so sad and heartbreaking to hear about your colleague. It one thing to lose a parent, or both of them (lost my own mother at 15 and my father 5 years ago) but quite another for them to pass away within a few days of each other. My heart goes out to them. :(

Wasn’t too impressed with the movie 1917, but on the plus side, the mall complex was located near the countries largest female university, so the place was swarming with beautiful young women who are no longer expected to walk around totally covered in black, so interesting to see a new generation growing up following their own rules.

    Sympathies bubbly

Garage side during my lunch break.
Hit a pothole (which had grown overnight) on my journey this morning. All seemed grand when I arrived at work. Thankfully, a colleague spotted a puncture. I know it could be worse, but ... I'm a very hungry honeybear atm.

I'm glad someone else found that, Auto and myself went to see it a few weeks ago and we were kind of underwhelmed. Good cinematography though.

    Deskside absolutely mangled :D

I may have put my razor in an ultrasonic clearer with an alcohol mix and the place smells like a distillery, razor is gleaming though :D

Deskside - organising trips with a group is such a pain. It's 100% the reason I travel solo 95% of the time.
