Aye no Monaghan. Very upsetting altogether.
    or Cavan
    or Mayo

Maybe it was meant to be a list of counties that Poly had visited ?

I'm at the dinner table, just about finished dinnering.

Just in from our walk, we went to our local park walk with the dogs and they did a bit of a canter this evening I tell you, the oldest lad jumped into the lake and got soaked so had a bit of a drying off to get before we could bring him home, he's now stretched in front of the stove with a silly grin on his face while the other lad is sort of bemused and not wanting to go too near his only partly dry partner.
Having a nice cup of tea and nursing poor Mrs tired feet.

Aww. What don't you like about it Ghosteen? I was just thinking earlier about my favourite counties in Ireland. Dubland Galway Donegal Cork Kerry Waterford.

Ah I've never really liked Dublin. It's just another city to me. Busy busy with not much about it. I was out in Killiney a few years back and I thought that was lovely but as far as capitals go it's pretty sh!tty though. Like I really like London and Paris say but Dublin just ain't for me. Much prefer the pace of life down here plus you're never far from a beach and there's stunning scenery all over the shop. That's more my cup of tea but different strokes for different folks and all that.

I know there's beaches in Dublin. Like I did say I loved Killiney but it's not the same as down here. I'd wager there's a lot more hassle in getting to the beach in Dublin compared plus it doesn't really have the scenery like down here.

Homeside, blogging away in my writers retreat with a cup of earl Grey and some nice tunes. God knows I need it, the day was a disaster!

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Ahh poor auld Dubland. It does get a lot of criticism. I have such a loyalty to the place that it surprises me given it's not where I'm from.
It's a feeling for me, not just a city.

Crazy nights out, falling in love, starting my career, lock ins in divey bars, Christmas lights on Grafton St, going up on the train with mam when I was small. She'd have a bag of samitches with her :) Meeting amazing people, The National History Museum, saying hello to Oscar Wilde in Merrion Sq, drinks in The Shelbourne pretending to be posh.

Now if I could just afford to live there sure I'd be in heaven :)

Ah yeah like I said each to their own Perse and please don't be offended by me not liking it. I'm just a random stranger on the internet and it's okay to have different opinions like. Plus I don't hate it or anything. It just ain't my cup of tea.

Oh what's that? Just starting the first episode of that new show The Stranger that seems to be "trending" at the minute.

It's a genre of detective tv shows, also known as Nordic Noir. The Bridge, The Killing, Arne Dahl, etc. Dark and gritty and atmospheric.

Oh The Stranger is on my list. Another good one I watched recently was Cobra.

    I've just started watching Cobra.

    Seems good so far.

Couchside with TV on in the background. Exhausted after two very very busy days at work and not enough sleep the past few nights.

Heading off to bed within an hour. Watching a bit of the Leaders RTE debate but have it on record. Have Friday off work so looking forward to the long weekend...

    Stay warm tonight peeps!

Haha! So many of us non posh folks pulling that stroke! :D

Bedside. Went to see 1917 with my Dad and brother. Enjoyed it, expected more for some reason. Also, Stillorgan charge 14 quid! It’s not my usual cinema but the time was better than DunLaoghaire.. anyway.. enough complaining from Dave.. time to see if the new episode of the Good Doctor is on Sky.. no debate watching for me.. they drive me up the walls.

Wide awake after winding myself up reading that dating thread. Cynical threads put me in an I Hate Everyone mood.
Which is why I mainly read this one :)

Oooh good call (Buffy moreso than the duvet, but that works too... :pac: )

Kitchenside: waiting for some chicken to cook. Starvin' after a run and some weights.

And the cats and smurf's mutt pics and Shoes' Frenchie baby obvs :)

Do you listen to NPR's This American Life podcast? I love it and this weeks was about Joy and Delight... some really random funny happy stories of joy

There's some funny posts in there too, but also more insight into pettiness and double standards than I can enjoy.

Watching my lava lamp, trying to.find out when the next Outlander book will be out, and being a cat bed for the ginger giant
