Even if it wasn’t crashed, you’d be doing well getting that for it.

Look at the positives, only seven previous owners and tested until September.

To put that price in to perspective.
I bought the same car(manual though) and same year but with full leather + heated seats (Plus the all important VW bottle opener :D) for less than half that.

And before anyone asks, its run flawlessly 14 months later.

Not a VVT-I Celica anyway, that is probably a 4sfi with approx 120bhp

3SFE as fitted to my dad's 99 Toyota Picnic most likely. My dad's was a mighty 2 litre though with an eye watering 130 bhp and a 5 speed stick shift.

To settle a boring debate, it'd be a 7AFE I'd say. Which was the one to avoid in a Celica.

Def isn’t one of those, taxed at 1830cc.

Think it’s a oddball Jap engine, that 7afe was in the carina and avensisisis.

Currently have a 4afe in a 99 avensis, very reliable but by Christ they are as slow as anything.

Wikipedia says it's a 4sfe. The car model is v40.

Yep basically a 1.8 version of the mighty 3sfe.

The 2.2td model of that camry would be the one to put into hibernation till vintage tax. I don't mind the looks at all either, they're kinda like a baby Chaser/Cresta.

They ain't worth the colour of 3.5k though.

Agree and I remember black s.oke pumping out the back big time and the white rear becoming a black exterior...

    Taxis loved them

If it was 500 it would still be overpriced.

NCT disc from 2014(?) and all in the window of the Camry! Mental money, but it’s lovely.

    I would...for €250

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,308 ✭✭✭✭wotzgoingon

That is the going rate but it depends on what Porsche it is some are more expensive than others. I was going to reply to your post earlier but there was no ad listed in the original post and I see you entered one in a post below that since i was last online.
