It gets cars sold which is the name of the game and I’ll never knock them for that, but if I was spending upwards of €7k for a 30+ year old Honda Accord I’d expect some professionalism be it in social media or in person

I agree. He's asking top dollar for everything and he's excessive for a lot of stuff but he has a massive following and if only one or two of them show a serious interest, he's on a winner

I am familiar with Ford Escort Gti's, they were just a standard 1.6 escort with side skirts. School friend had a blue one of these nearly 20 years ago. Gti on these cars were just a trim level. There was nothing remotely Gti about them. They were marketed as end of life models since the escort was going out the window. They came with a 1.8 engine as well which seemed to be for UK models. The irish ones seemed to be all 1.6 models. They are not fast, so don't be conned by the "Gti" badge on the doors.
