    Gotta admit that I don’t understand my builder, my experience in aircraft project management is that A follows B and then C, you know this from the start and plan accordingly. My builder seems to like doing A, then thinking about B. So there is no way that I shall have a completed house by the end of my vacation.

    There are much warmer places where I could have spent my vacation.

    Humbug.

    I can't stop thinking about garlic and coriander naan bread. Nd pickled beetroot. It's keeping me awake. Strange (Iyswim)

    Your builder will only leave when either

    a. There is no money left

    b. You move in ( even if its only half finished )

    Couchside, at home, on my tablet with Lewis on the TV that the OH is watching.

    The couple in the apartment upstairs are fighting yet again. They are very loud and noisy at the best of times, but the sounds of stuff being thrown about, doors being slammed and stomping and screaming and shouting is actually pretty unpleasant. :(

    Might have to watch that myself for the giggles. I was a young one when that happened and I used to be terrified walking past a shrine in case they would move and I would have to be a nun. :D

    In bed, just scoffed some salty vinegar hunky dorys to treat myself after a long bloody day of work. I worked 13 hours and wrote 3 articles, edited 7 and built and populated some widgets on a website. Exhausted.

    Also played 2 games of Rummikub with my parents which I lost. I rarely lose. Dammit.

    Tomorrow have one article to write (so far) about Christmas so that will cheer me up and probably about 3 edits. Hopefully get finished early to go meet a school friend who got married in September then drive to Armagh to collect youngest son and girlfriend from the Belfast bus. Easy day. :D

    I've just arrived in work on this lovely crisp November morning. My brother gave me a lift in (because I haven't fixed my bike yet) but he was wrapped up so well, it looked like he could barely move. And then he gets on to me for not wearing any jacket at all. "But I love the cold!!!" sez I. :D
