PES 2020 - Boards League Thread

I'd throw my hat in the ring here, but I know from experience that I sometimes have difficulty fulfilling fixtures due in good part to working night shift work.
There's some super players in here, and the league is played in a nice sportsmanship spirit.
I'll be around for stray friendlies whenever yiz might be about, I enjoy playing PES with you guys.
PES 2020 is pretty superb.

Hey folks, if there's any spaces going spare in the league I'd like to put my name it there... Skipped last year's edition but got 2020 on release day and I'm excited to get into some competitive matches online.

If it doesn't suit I'm still game for a few friendlies if people in the league are looking for a few warm up matches.

You have to download the discord app and then click the link in one of the previous posts to join the league chat

Ok, here are the team pick order. As mentioned below, there is no restriction on the team rating you pick in the championship but there is in the premiership (4.5 stars)

This is the first year there is a tiered league, ie the top players (just in my opinion) in the Premiership and the rest of the players in the Championship.

First PES 2020 boards league coming to an end.

Next league will be starting in the next month or so. All newcomers welcome. All the chat for the league takes place on the discord app so if you want to join, I can send an invite.

The old invite is deleted as we had a lot of people joining and not speaking in the thread so they had to be kicked.

Hi all,

New league starting up very soon. The format of this league will be an approach which we have tried for the current season and has worked out quite well.

Each week you will have to pick a different team and once you pick a team, you can't use them again. It keeps things fresh and lets you use an array of teams you may never have used before.

If you're not on our Discord chat, let me know if you're interested in playing the next season of the league.

Morning all. New league starting next week and looks like we may have 14-18 players but the more the merrier! I'm sure a lot of ye are bored in isolation so may want a fun league to join so the boards PES League will help with this boredom hopefully.

It's a PS4 league so unfortunately can only accept players on PS4. We've got a great community that we've had the majority of for a few years now and there's a bit of banter among everyone also.

We operate the league via the discord app so if anyone is interested, I'll PM you a link to it.
