Homeside and holiday start now! Just some packing to do and heading for the ferry in the morning.
Been a tough week, trying to get a few things in order before finishing and yesterday boss approves something she’s had for a month, meaning ball was back in my court just before I went away
But I lobbed it back over the net just in time! So time for a drink now :)

Any chance you could organize a few nice treats when you get home from work? A glass of wine? Chocolate or whatever? A heated pad and cozy bed? Something good to watch and distract? Mind yourself. Full of admiration for you.

I’m thinking bed, a movie, tea and some chocolate. Having said that, I’ve taken painkillers and I do feel quite a lot better thankfully!

    Workside, on my break.

In recovery after a meal in Nandos. Way too old for that. Bars side. And later I will be literally barstool side.

Easy on the tabs Kittie and have a nice time Poochie! ;)

Massive row with herself earlier and possibly most significant of the lot so that may be that, which is ok, it has to end some time.
Been coming for yonks so it's fine.
But felt bad for her Brother who is staying with us for a couple days. She's in sitting room and I'm in the sun-room and he couldn't have looked more awkward when he sat down with me for a minute to say hello.
I tried to chat crap and so did he but ya know yourself.... Poor lad is gone to bed already .

I suppose its like when we used to fly in various world leaders to "have a chat" while there were bombs going off left right and centre from the IRA and Unionists and they'd say something about peace on the island and then get the hell away again.
But then Bono turned up and sorted it all out.

    I need you now Bono!!!!!!!!

Keep out of the firing line NewRed and see how things are tomorrow. It's not a nice situation to be in.

If something is in its death throes it can be kinder to put it out of its misery.

Only you can tell if its beyond saving though.

Spot the battle hardened eh? :pac:

Relaxing now myself with a wine, and no alarm in the morning so I'll probably wake at 6!

Any sign of Seph after his first week?

Having a glass of red watching QI - busy day and got lots of work finished - making the wine that bit more satisfying.

Ha yeah snap. You get up for work at 6 bells yeah? It's a killer at weekends isn't it? Up at 6am weekdays myself too and no matter what I try I still wake same time saturdays and sundays.
    Pesky body alarm clock.
    Impossible to shut it off.
I was out cleaning the gutters at 6.30am last saturday just to give me something to do.
I've tried all sorts.... Weighted blankets, reading, staying sober, etc :D

Ah no, I'm up at 7, lucky me! I drag myself out of bed during the week though, then wake up earlier when I can sleep at the weekends.

I'm convinced my body clock is trolling me.

I was in the kitchen at five this morning eating toast as I was wide awake :(

I hear ya. Lot to be said for being young, when you could wake up at 12pm on a saturday and roll over for another nap. :D

Probably showing my age here but as a teenager I used to love saturday mornings, get up just in time for Football Focus on the BBC which I think was around 12pm ish and Saturday began then with a brekkie that was handed to me.
    Ahhh the memories :D

Oh and Grandstand........... The Grandstand music was boss!
