But, like, again, if someone is going to see someone, they should think them a great showman. Every band leader is, in their own way. Otherwise they wouldn’t be in that position. Or if a soloist, you definitely need to be that. I don’t know why his fans think that that’s in some way remarkable. I’ve seen him live (Slane ‘99) and, yeah, he was energetic. Nothing special though, that’s what you’d expect. I just find it odd how often I’ve heard that disclaimer. Are they acknowledging that he is shit otherwise? I don’t know.

Well he sells arenas on his showmanship - that's his shtick

Like celine Dion sells on her singing, others sell on their looks

Not every singer/band is going to be large-scale entertainment. You'll hardly see Westlife running around with their top off, dragging women up on stage and serenading them

He's good at what he does, without being gifted vocally

Ps veering a little off topic (unless anyone fancies the arse off Ron Pearlman), the Richard Gere dog photos are nothing compared to the Ron Pearl-cat.

I must admit I thought Sarah Jessica Parker looked almost attractive in the film 'Ed Wood'.
Maybe the fact it's in black & white helped :D

Bingo. At least you’re honest. :D

Genuine q, does he still fill arenas? Not a sarky question. I have no idea.

There’s some early ‘90s film she was in and my husband was surprised at how good she looked. She had more weight on her face.

This is turning into a thread about overly horny people saying what the would let a celebrity do to them.

I don’t know what to do with this statement.
I's say god bless his energy and viagra.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.

Cillian Murphy, Colin Farrell, Johnny Depp (now.... he was extremely hot in his youth!) and Brad Pitt all look like they could easily belong to a certain ethnic minority in this country!!

Think it’s something to do with the high chiselled cheekbones!

Unlikely, although he still has a very large following and still plays big venues

Not bad to be fair a good 16/17 years after his peak

Rihanna. She a forehead that would require planning permission in Ireland.

Russel Brand, I am in love with him and want to rip his clothes off

Oh well, more of his balls for me to gargle
For any younger men reading this thread who may think all men are horndogs and women are innocent flowers I present you with proof that is not the case at all.
That is my life lesson to the young men of Boards.ie.

    Your welcome.

Never saw the hype with her. Very average looking.

Hhheyyyyy.. I say I'm in love with him and want to rip his clothes off... that's pretty damn tame for me! If I said what I'd do once the clothes were off I think your jaw would hit the floor :p

A lot of it has to do with her character on Big Bang, for me. I forgot to put Jennifer Aniston on that list, as well.

Megan Fox. She looks too harsh.

Pretty much the only good thing about The Big Bang Theory.

    Sigh. Get out.

I remember being very fond of the ad breaks and end credits whenever I was forced to watch it.

Most of the current popular male crushes do nothing for me. I laughed out loud when I heard Bendywick Cuddlebunny was a sex symbol. Clooneys best feature is his voice, he looks likes someones vain dad.

Has anyone said cillian Murphy yet?

I was gonna say Cillian Murphy. Recently, a friend of mine mentioned how gorgeous she thinks he is and I was very surprised. He looks ghoulish to me.

For some actors, though, it depends on how they're presented in different films because an actor can be really hot in one film and have zero sex appeal in another. General rule of thumb for me is shaved head = gorgeous. Doesn't apply to everyone but for many it does. Cillian, however, would be rated zero for me even with a shaved head. I think it's his eyes that I don't like.

His eyes are very intense. I don't think I've ever fancied anyone with very striking eyes. Sounds odd, I know.

Ye I love blue eyes normally but his are too blue. They're so light in colour. I also think he has women's lips.

He's a good actor though. Loved him in Breakfast on Pluto.

Cillian Murphy is pretty androgynous looking which is going to be a marmite thing. I've seen him on stage a couple of times and he's fairly mesmerising in person I must say. Tiny little fellah though.

Tom Hardy is the same height at 5'9. But for some reason he looks a lot taller? Perhaps it's his stocky build.

Chrissy Tiegan, how is she a model.

I seen the Lip Sync battle and Cindy Crawford came out.The difference.Cindy was gorgeous and Chrissy was like a little munchkin.
