Ah the stereotypical Dublin soccer fan. Last GAA post was the exact same drivel before the 2017 final.

Yet to meet any Dublin clubman who shows this bravado and I know plenty of the., seems to only be the online keyboard warriors.

BTW best of luck to Liverpool and Bohs in their respective seasons this year.

Expect a lot of this until next Saturday now. This fixture between these 2 teams has become toxic and the banter and army pages on social media only serve to fuel the army of trolls. There are too many folks with too little to do, and with little between their ears to occupy themselves with meaningful pastimes. There are ex players who involve themselves with this too.

It really does take away from what the whole ethos of the GAA is about.

    What's the story re same?

Has anybody had this news definitively confirmed?

Diarmuid was'nt in the 26 yesterday but I heard zilch yesterday re this additional injury.

Otherwise are we to presume his wrist simply required additional healing time?

I heard different last night. Apparently will be in the 26 for Saturday.

Just had a look and 310/313 sections available in lower Cusack.

I have what I believe to be very glad tidings!

Out for the breakfast with a mate as you do on a Bank Holiday and who pops in other than Diarmuid and then Paddy.

I can confirm 100% the cast is off and there is absolutely no evidence of this rumoured quad injury.

Massive boost for Saturday if he is back available.

Tis a pity but familiarity breeds contempt and all that mullarkey.

TBH I take little heed of the peoples that use same social media as they really are'nt truly representative of the vast majority supporters on either side but their musings do give me a laugh however nonsensical and vitriolic the rhetoric.

I also bumped into him late last week and there was no cast, which is why I was surprised he wasn't in the match day 26 the last day. But maybe he wasn't quite ready last weekend.

Yes, supposed to be a wet day. Shades of the 2016 final I reckon...

We need a big Mayo crowd the next day, this team deserves all the noise we can muster...

Might not be the monsoon stuff we saw that day, but likely to be a wet ball. Might be a bit like the weather for the 2017 drawn game with Kerry.

Also, now that the dust has settled, just wanted to say how brilliant the support was the last day. It's many a year since I felt McHale Park vibrate like that. It was some atmosphere to be part of and I'm told it didn't go unnoticed by the team. A great occasion.

A quad injury may not be that obvious......not an expert but walking could be fine, intensive running is a different story.

I'm sure nobody on the panel would say so on the record, but I'd say the vigorous crowd response to 'dubious' refereeing decisions was particularly appreciated...

I would expect it would be seen when kicking the ball.

Would love rain too but what often gets forgotten is how it affected ourselves in the 2016 drawn game too

We conceded 2-9 I think that day but I think only about 0-4 of that were well worked Dublin scores, the rest were OGs, off bad kickouts or careless disposessions (one player in particular had a mini meltdown at one stage). We wasted a huge amount of chances in the first half too

That's a hard one to take looking back. Defended so well but silly errors at crucial times and never looked like getting a goal. Got 4 more scores than them

I just hope we're in a position to rattle them again. The week layoff really pisses me off though. Ive a very bad feeling it could be a huge factor

Is it 9am or 10am they are for sale online?

Email said 3.00pm Wednesday, but I'd take that with a pinch of salt.

That's not for online general sales but just season ticket holders.......
