Not seeing this on any of the major news outlets yet, only on Facebook and some local news outlets. Has he really passed away?

Are you questioning the Journalistic integrity of LMFM?

    Entirely unconfirmed at this point.

Anyway he was great in Fr Ted. Should have played more villains.

edit John Creedon has posted on twitter so it's probably the case.

He went quick in the end, RIP.

Loved his comedy growing up, one of the few comedians you could watch with your parents without being morto.

Is the poor man actually dead? Seems pretty sick to announce this if he isn’t. To say the least

Yeah but I thought I would link to it anyway. Either somebody playing a very elaborate joke across smaller news sites, or it is being reported more widespread.

RIP Brendan. A very funny man but more importantly a very nice man. His wife Eileen is a wonderful person too and is also a very funny person.
Had loads of laughs at his shows when he was young and had lots of laughs when I met the man off stage too.

Remember the same thing a few years with Ger Loughnane- he was ill with Leukemia and it was announced online he had died- his poor son in Australia read it and thought he had died

No "new" sources saying anything other than he isn't dead. So he is probably alive.
