Who was claiming that? If I remember correctly, this was mainly about Weinstein when it took off.

It was but it only got massive traction with the trump election , timing was everything , people knew weinstein was a creep for decades, but it was a strategy to lump them all together. Ended up doing noting to the republicans and just jailed hollywood to the wall.

So it was all a conspiracy to get republicans and trump?

    Seriously?

I have to agree with those who say keep party politics out of this. Democrat or Republican, anyone who is revealed to have been involved was a sick fück, full stop.
Until everybody knows who's involved, both sides will probably be wary of too much commentary/criticism, in case it backfires.

No. It was staryed to root out anyone behaving badly, but it was hyped and money poured into it to get republicans, when that didnt happen the cash dried up and it returned to being a small movement on twitter targetting mostly hollywood types and teachers but without the media fanfare and backing or big ticket ‘exposes’

Err... yeah. Of course. Journalists worked tirelessly for months following and corroborating stories about sexual abuse allegations against a film producer in order to take down the Republican Party which ended up not taking down the Republican Party because reasons.

What part of that isn't clear?

Believing that any movement that became big in 2016-17 stateside in relation to racism, activism. Sexual assault, gun control or minorities is non political or would have gotten as much traction without political donations is just living in fantasy land.

Women all over the world coming out and finally being able to tell of the creepy to grotesque treatment they received at the hands of men theyve encountered in their lives wasn’t funded or bankrolled by anyone.

You’ve a serious amount of tinfoil on there if you believe otherwise.
But to follow, funded by who? And why? And where’s the evidence?
    Thanks

Do you think that this movement gaining traction at the exact same time that democrats are trying to pin sexual assault allegations on a republican candidate is complete coincidence ?

Fairly certain the guy who pressed charges against Kevin spacey wasn’t a republican sabateour. Nor the many women came out about Bill cosby raping them.

This was a groundswell long before your frankly silly conspiracy idea that it was all to take out Republicans

It seems the narcissism extends beyond trump himself. Can you have narcissism by proxy?

There are what, 13 or 14 standing charges of rape against trump?

Are they even being investigated and if not why not?

Plus you'd think if they were going to go after Republicans, they would have... y'know... gone after Republicans rather than film producers and actors. Not to mention the obvious blowback it would have on previous accusations against Bill Clinton too at the very least.

But no, this was just a plot to take down Republicans because everything is politicised. Some people can't even condemn the likes of Weinstein or Epstein without checking which politicians they've been photographed with the most first.

No, he pleaded the 5th because he was unaware tampering with evidence was in fact a crime.

I'd be shocked if it is going to trial.

Also worth noting that it isn't the only accusation against spacey. The Star Trek guy is credible.

    So was this guy TBF.

Now Spacey could well be a rapey creep.

But this particular case looks to have all hallmarks of a classic grift.

I can only call them as I see them TBH.

The whole thing of him being ‘attacked’ on Hampstead Heath. At 3am. Walking his dog?
That story alone tells the story.
    Spacey is beyond rapey.

When you have that kind of money your going to always have some gougers chancing their arm looking for a pay off.
No better example than the porn star RTE paid to appear to talk about the presidents 3 piece suite, a fantastic use of our license fee mocking a sitting president of America.

Isn't that where Gay men go out to "cruise".

I'm not defending Spacey, but I don't think that proves he is "rapey".

We can only look at what we know for sure, the criminal case against him seems at best an extortion attempt.

I imagine getting people with political clout mixed up with you is a proactive strategy to protect yourself. I would be confident that Clinton got up to inappropriate activities but that they didn't involve children. He has a public record of philandering but it was with an adult-looking adult. I would assume he was unaware of the more sinister side of what was going on.

He could not have been unaware for long. Epstein's behaviour was as well known as Jimmy Saville's.

The Clintons try to get ahead of the coming storm by releasing a statement

He admits being on the Lolita Express.... just not as often as the 26 times we know he was

    https://twitter.com/WashTimes/status/1148365761171378177

26 times suggests he was well aware of Esptein activities with women. Just hope for his sake, Clinton was not messing around with underage girls? It's clear from the indictment Epstein was a pedo and was engaging in sex acts with girls aged 14.

Bill I'm not 100% but think he was, a month in Africa with Epstein and Spacey, even wrote a letter for Epstein when he was facing charges, good guy Bill. It's not looking good for him.
I hope the lid is blown completely off the Clinton Foundation in all this, there's so much they need to answer.
Hillary and Maxwell need to be hauled in, they guys have questions to answer but their enablers more so.

Terrific guy," Trump told New York Magazine in 2002. "He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side."

In light of what we know now, you have to wonder did Trump know he had sex with underage girls and kept quiet about it? You don't suddenly start having sex with 14 year old girls. Esptein likely be doing this for a very long time even before this statement from trump.i hope it all comes out and there know cover-up of this.

    Gets rolled out.

You have no argument whatsoever if that long dead hollow whataboutery is your only argument

Jesus Christ the more you delve into the Clinton's and what they where up to the seedier it get's.

You really wonder if Epstein is going down who he will drag down with him. No use being a Billionaire if you are spending the rest of your days in the showers with Bubba.

She accusing Trump and Epstein of doing this at a mansion, not on an Island. If Trump did this he would do everything to cover up his involvement. That Acosta guy that gave Epstein a plea deal in Florida needs to be brought in for questioning. There may be hidden story here. His now a minister in Trump government.

There no evidence yet Trump did the act the woman details, but it well known though Trump lied about affairs with women. His been covering his tracks for years about sexual encounters with women and bribing and threatening them to tell.

it is, the same story is going to be repeatedly peddled out here.

    1) it was filed in 2016 in both new york and california, in district courts that cannot award 100 million dollars, should have been filed in a federal court but wasn't
    2) was never re-filed correctly
    3) incidents alleged to happen in 1994 but despite a plea in 2008 for victims of epstein to come forward there was nothing.

Lets entertain the CT she was paid by the Clintons do it.

    1. Trump hadn't got the nomination yet, all though he was almost assured of it.

    2. The DNC and the Clintons wanted Trump, the poll numbers indicated nothing but a win against him.

Trying to destroy him and get him to drop out before he was nominated makes zero sense, especially as they wanted him to be nominated.

Maybe not the clintons, some dems would still be interested in pushing it, that close to the nod its possible they wanted to cause chaos and have to have the republicans pick a different candidate half way through the campaign,

It makes a lot of sense that somebody (possibly even another republican) paid for this to happen.

The DNC party were all on the same page, the polls suggested Clinton would lose to the other top 3 candidates one on one. Donald was the one they badly wanted.

TBH when Donald got the nod, I actually thought he was a Clinton plant. :pac:

I want to know how much I’d get from a mystery man or faction, to come out and make a rape allegation against trump on national media in the US and this probably ruining my own life forever to be hounded and possibly threatened by his base and by his media lackies who will no doubt go digging up or inventing dirt about me and my life and publishing it in all available media and platforms to being me down.

What kind of price could I ask for that?

Or maybe just perhaps those making these allegations are actually telling the truth

Protest against what? He's been arrested and is facing charges pending further investigation. If he gets another sweetheart deal this time, given the publicity surrounding it now, there would be protests. But there's no reason to protest at this stage. Let the investigation take its course.

On the slight off chance he did win, it could destroy the Clinton's. I'm sure they knew that. It's now happening as they've nothing left to throw at him, the Russian thing was a farce, it's Hillary needs to answer questions about the Russians. They've had clear access to power for years, now there shut out as Trump is in charge, they've never been weaker. I expect Hillary to go to Jail before all this is finished. There's so much corruption she's linked to it's impossible get your head round it.

Full disclosure, I bet on Trump to win not for a second did I think Hillary could beat him and as things stand I expect him to do it again.

I've been looking through Epstein's little black book and it's fair to say he knew all sorts and not obvious all sorts either - Mariella Frostrup and Lloyd Grossman for example. the Heseltine family, Eddie Irvine and so on.
