As far as I'm concerned if Connors can call the AGS 'scum' it's reasonable to refer to him in a less than complimentary manner. 'Wanker' would be mild in my opinion of what he is.

I think you've got him all wrong, I was watching Cardboard Gangsters the other on TV3 or whatever it is, and I thought he was great.
I enjoyed it, I was chuckling all the way through it, and there were real belly laughs to be had, some great comedic performances..
