Ah, shame. I like how the bargains thread is split into Irish / foreign, would be nice here too.

Location is important when thinking of buying a car, but I don't see the benefit if all we're doing here is looking at pictures of interesting cars people spotted.

Not everyone who posts here is based in Ireland either

It's not titled "saw a classic in Ireland and took a pic".
I travel a fair amount and love to spot classics anywhere, and I also appreciate people posting classics from other countries that we'd never see here. Why fix what ain't broke?

Merc-fest in Dun Laoghaire yesterday evening..
there were a couple of other cars under covers, so I'm guessing apartment owners/long term storage.
The SLC is a funny one, both cartell & motorcheck show it as an "unknown" model with an engine capacity of 6973cc..most likely a typo as the 500 model has a 4973cc engine

That car park in Dun Laoghaire is always stocked with classics. Some of them like the SL and and an orange BMW 2002 are ever present, and new ones come and go regularly in that same spot near the entrance.

    Any pics of the 2002?

    Any pics of the 2002?

there were a couple of cars with covers on them, one did show a hint of orange mid flank, I was trying to guess what it was by the shape - the orange Dades mentions confirmed it. I didn't take a pic, nor did I/would I lift a cover in a public car park.

The 2002 is often uncovered and in different spots so it must move about. And I'm almost certain there's a pic of it buried in this thread!
