    Cheeky Teen: baaaaaaaaaaaa

Alan: why did you make that noise?

Cheeky Teen: cause you're a sheep shagger

    Alan: No i don't, don't be silly

Cheeky Teenager: baaaaaaa > hits Alan on back of head with paper ball

Alan: Snaps: why ya dick calling me a sheep shagger
*Alan now goes into meltdown mode > You’re the sheep shagger. You probably keep sheep magazines under your bed, probably pictures of sheep on their back in a pen with their knickers off. Bet you kiss ’em, swirling your tongue around, play with their teats, get behind it, strum ’em like a guitar, spooning them with your hot balls pushed up against its woolly back.”

Producer enters studio > "Alan the manager wants to see you in his office straight away"

Alan: "oh i'm really worried, ahem i am a bit to be honest" :pac:

*Poor Alan gets a two weeks suspension from the airwaves for his misdemeanour.

Get ready for 'And Did Those Feet, With Alan Partridge' - the next Alan adventure

"Alan Partridge's forthcoming series is a Simon Schama-style historical documentary of Britain, Chortle can reveal.

Production has begun on the BBC One show, provisionally titled And Did Those Feet, With Alan Partridge, with filming set to begin in May.

Rob and Neil Gibbons will once again direct and share writing duties with star Steve Coogan."

I think Alan is good in recent one-offs (Scissored Isle, Open Books) so I welcome this.

Best episode of a very bad lot. But it was back to his best in fairness.

Speaking of DVD extras they are already releasing This Time on DVD with a test shoot as the one and only extra. I don't know who made that decision but I'd love to get my hands on the bástard. Or bítch, it might be a lady.

Did anyone spot in one episode Alan's house was called Denton Manor (or something like that)? But that's Simon's surname...why is Alan's house named after Sidekick Simon? Hmmmm...I'm guessing Alan lost a bet :)

I thought the joke was that it's not his house. I thought it was Simon's childhood home and Alan is just trying to look more successful than he actually is. See this scene from Scissored Isle and look at the woman (I think anyway) in the second bedroom from the left.
EDIT: Timestamp didn't work, the scene is at 3 minutes in.

Simon is adopted too. Maybe he was adopted by some rich people who were incapable of loving him, and Alan is the father figure he never had. If that's true, then poor Simon: he's f*cked! :pac:

Just noticed in Scissored Isle: the bit where he's showing YouTube comments reacting to this "chav" dinner speech - all of the negative comments have replies from Lynn.

    Vivian G: Pejudiced old dinosaur
    - Lynn Benfield: Leave him be

    Stelios McVee: Hateful man
    - Lynn Benfield: Leave him alone

Steve Baratheon: I could cleave him in half with a broadsword. see how he like sit
    - Lynn Benfield: Only god can smite him

Craig Fyter: Got a video of him getting change. Might stick it online as revenge porn
    - Lynn Benfield: What is revenge porn?

Overall loved This Time, but that last episode was seriously weak. It just looked unfinished. There's so many different ways they could have done that, so I was surprised that's the best they came up with. Episode 3 was the only other one I thought was so so but it was still better than that .

I would love to get into a televised discussion on which episode was the Best.
I think this episode was devised in a way to throw the veiwer off the presenters chemistry.

How well does Steve Coogan know Alan partridge?

I haven't watched this yet but I'd be willing to bet not as well as most of us who post here.

I'd say it's a good thing, sure the more Partridge you know the better! I only got a pathetic 4 out of 8 but I take comfort in knowing that at least I know the name of Michael's bike. Imagine Steve forgetting Desert Storm. The cheeky get!

This whole video is hilarious in its own right but Richard Whiteley goes seriously Partridge at 1:10.

Just back from a fitness class. I'm trying to lose some weight and an Alan bit popped into my head mid-class. He says something in I,Partridge about how when he was morbidly obese, it felt like he had a large midget wrapped around his waist, and "I wanted him gone". I started pissing myself laughing :pac: Get out of my head Alan!

Alan does love talc! Many mentions of it throughout his works. There's another bit in the book where he talks about getting a show from a producer called Adam Walters. Alan arranged it so that he was having a "shower and a talc" at the same time as Walters, so he could harass him for a show. He set up an interview, and then excitedly ran home "excess talc spilling from my trouser legs" :pac:

Yes Alan is a great advocate of cleanliness....as he said himself nothing feels more invigorating than stepping out of a shower with freshly washed penis & balls :)

I laughed out loud there because I read that in Alan's voice.
