This is awful from Joe. 3 min for Cooney is a joke.

Not looking great for the bonus point.

Our midfield play has been pathetic.

If we win today we need to regroup and a rethink of how we use our half backs and centres

    Great steal.

I'd say we have just blown it.

It's almost an Eddie O'Sullivan move!

But the fact is Cooney hasn't earned Joe's trust yet.

Why do commentators always say 'to make it a 1 score game' when it's 6 points? They would need to score twice.

You know a converted try is 7, right?

Ireland's bench really making a difference, particularly Dillane, Porter and Kilcoyne.

Lovely interplay from Scotland between a lock, backrow to put a PROP into a gap that would have been closed in on him by my granny.

Power play for last try please

Please don't kick it out. Go for the bonus.

I don't think it's been a great performance at all from Ireland. However we have still managed to win at Murrayfield missing A LOT of players. That's got to count for something ahead of the WC.

Heaslip going with POM for Motm on bbc, seems mad to me.

My order is Healy, Furlong, Kearney.

? Three points for the try, two for the conversion. Five in total.

We should go for a try here

A win is a win, but both teams will be hugely disappointed with that.

Well at least we won while playing poorly

And a bonus point if you get the conversion in off the post

Nervy and a bit hesitant, but good to get a win under the belt. You can see the loss of confidence.

absolutely criminal to not get the bonus point there

I'm bloody delighted to be honest. Scotland's recent home record has been excellent. After last week's performance I was very worried about today. But we saw a gritty forwards display where everyone played their part in the win. Strangled Scotland in the second half. Don't care about not getting the try bonus. The win was essential to get our tournament back on track.

Half backs and centres were abysmal and a rethink is desperately needed. Losing Sexton and Ringrose was a blow, but that shouldn't be used as an excuse for a frankly abysmal attacking performance.

We won away in Murrayfield but still feel a bit empty.. Would kill for this in the 1990s..

Two scores is what he probably means.

The lack of a bonus point will probably end out chances of taking the overall championship but happy with the win nonetheless

I think Ireland will be relieved more than disappointed.... There was extreme pressure on them coming into this
