Delighted to see Dillane back in this particular shade of green.

It really brings out his eyes. Lovely

That was careless to let it go after all that work with the maul.

I don't disagree that Murray isn't shining today but a poor game? Nah, he's not up to his usual standards but he's being solid today and he isn't the only one who isn't shining either.

Scotland are losing the will here as usual so I can expect two or three Irish tries from here if they are savvy.

    2 or 3? You're an optimist :)

    1 will do me.

    That's dumb rugby from us

Good performance by Best. Cronin's carrying threat might help us get a BP now.

All sorts of offside in that maul. Poite would struggle refereeing daisy-pickers

Was thinking the same, his reffing of the breakdown is very infuriating. Scotland should have had 2 pens in the first for us not releasing, not given

    No wheel on that scrum.

    Sure Jan.

Maitland had to be in touch there

Love the work rate from Porter when he comes off the bench

That and looked like a forward pass to him.

He would need long arms to do it from the stand!

May get him back on the pitch so.

    Not so what it’s respect.

I presume you tell everyone to be quiet during lineouts to respect the hooker getting the call and throw right?

Different cultures have different habits. No point being on some respect high horse

I sometimes wish he'd come on a bit sooner.

Murray has been awful. Slow, poor passing, poor kicking, poor decision making.

Scrums nearly 180 rotation - not a word from Poite, never mind a whistle.

Some reflection on FFR that he’s consistently one of their international refs

Delighted to see Dillane back in this particular shade of green.

It certainly looks better than the other one he keeps in his wardrobe.

I didn't mean at that particular moment give it 2-3 min :D

Murray was hit really late there

    Joey redeeming himself big time.

Ireland's Got Talent might shade this match for entertainment.. it's never got going..

Ireland should have been allowed reset that line out fully.

Silly stuff from Ireland there, but Scotland shoot themselves in the foot again.

Poor off the back of that maul again.

Not good from Murray almost with the intercept and poor from Aki to take his eyes off it

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

This is awful from Joe. 3 min for Cooney is a joke.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,173 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

3 fcuking minutes for Cooney

Not looking great for the bonus point.

Our midfield play has been pathetic.

If we win today we need to regroup and a rethink of how we use our half backs and centres

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

    Great steal.

It's almost an Eddie O'Sullivan move!

But the fact is Cooney hasn't earned Joe's trust yet.

Why do commentators always say 'to make it a 1 score game' when it's 6 points? They would need to score twice.

You know a converted try is 7, right?

Ireland's bench really making a difference, particularly Dillane, Porter and Kilcoyne.

Lovely interplay from Scotland between a lock, backrow to put a PROP into a gap that would have been closed in on him by my granny.

Power play for last try please

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

Please don't kick it out. Go for the bonus.

I don't think it's been a great performance at all from Ireland. However we have still managed to win at Murrayfield missing A LOT of players. That's got to count for something ahead of the WC.

Heaslip going with POM for Motm on bbc, seems mad to me.

My order is Healy, Furlong, Kearney.

? Three points for the try, two for the conversion. Five in total.

We should go for a try here

A win is a win, but both teams will be hugely disappointed with that.
