Would have to be Friday in that case as Racing would want Sunday?

Think there's usually 2 games on Sunday so potential for another one then too.

Well they just need to score while denying Munster a bonus. I think it's doable.

I'm not entirely sold on Munster's attacking threat against a solid squad. I can see them kicking a lot of penalties but maybe coming up blunt when going for tries.

I still think Munster are going to win and go through and I wonder if Montpellier will do them a favour.

But if I was a Munster fan, I'd be feeling the fear right now.

Fear? You're having a laugh. They were good on Sunday, but Castres were awful. Not a reflection on how good they were at all. And Castres scored twice and butchered a few other chances as well. They can be got at.

I respect them as they're good, but so are Munster.

I know, which is why I'm backing Munster.

But I think Exeter will rightly feel they have a fighting chance.

That's true, but BT would probably want an English side on at approx 4pm on a Sunday...all just speculation at this point though

Exeter have won plenty games on the road this season but I can't see past Munster. Munster will only be missing a maximum of three players from its first choice 23, that's pretty remarkable.

It's like you don't even try to be cryptic with your usernames anymore!

    You've changed, man.

Well there will be only 1 English side at home which is Saracens (Didn't want to jinx it by saying 1 England side at all.. :P) Judging by last few years, Racing qf will almost certainly be on the Sunday.

Think fixtures out usually within a few days of last round but would have been nice to book flights before airlines hike up the price!

Hopefully he will get regular game time. Could see him make an impact. Wonder would McKinley be included in Italian 6N squad?

I'm disappointed at how his time in Munster went for him, the booing was a low point fro me so I can only imagine how it felt for him, the squad and his family and I hope we never hear it again from Munster fans.

I hope he can kick on from where he is currently in his rugby career - he deserves to finish on a high.

Ffs. For one last time... There was no booing. Watch it back. Sarcastic cheering by 20-ish morons in the crowd, but no booing.

Best of luck to Keatley. Shame for him that it didn't happen sooner as this season has been a non-event for him.

I'd still take him at Ulster in a heartbeat.

Guess Who's Back, Back Again? JJ's Back, Tell a Friend
Sad that things didn't work out in the end for Keatley, but hopefully enjoys his spell in Treviso. Still have great memories of his intercept in the Aviva and leaping out of my seat :D Always seemed to enjoy the media and behind the scenes video stuff too - very positive influence.

    🤪

Call it what you like - it wasn't acceptable then and it still rankles with me and I'm sure with others.

Yeah was thinking Munster could have released him a bit earlier. But with Carberry in Ireland squad and JJ injured, guess Tyler will start with Bill Johnston on bench?

A potential Edinburgh v Munster game would be played on the Friday or Sunday if Edinburgh police say they can't support it on the Saturday.

Our first kid is due then.

Ah well, I'm sure the birth stuff is easy!

I'm disappointed at how his time in Munster went too but i was never a fan of his. The 3 year contract he is finishing shouldn't have been given to him imo. Whatever way people want to dress it up, he's going as backup cover to an Italian club; that's a clear indication of his market value.

He was never going to be as good as ROG and people needed to understand that, he played some good rugby for us but had a disaster of a year, a year many more players let themselves down too. He's Munster 2nd highest point scorer and is more than a decent cover for OH.

He will be first choice for a lot of next season with the world cup and 6 nations taking Allen and McKinley.
He deserved the contract extension and it was in that new contract that he started playing quite poorly.

I've never heard anyone expect him to fill ROG's boots, or even compare them as being similar players, so this comparison is a retroactive defense against a standard that was never expected of him.

When JvG came, he said he was going to give every player an opportunity to prove hi.self (i assume he came here without much bias or in-depth knowledge of MR), Keatley was given his opportunity and now finds himself as cover for the A's. The coaching staff's decision is surely merit-based, as is the coaching staff across Europe who were informed by Keatley's agent that he would be available after May. If he was "more than decent cover for OH" he would have better options than cover at Treviso. His market value and demand has been shown.

Yeah, i could use proactive phrases like 'his valuable skillset isn't what Munster are looking for at this point in time" but that's the bs that gets used in break-ups. I neither love nor hate the man (or anything in between) and i'm not insulting him for going to Trev but he's just not good enough for 10, 12 or 15 in top-tier rugby.

But he was ROGs principal successor and therefore was compared to him when making mistakes/not capable of doing the things Munster fans just grew to expect from O Gara.
He is more than decent cover for OH and Treviso are signing him as theyre likely to lose 2 players to italian set up for most of next season.
He's a very decent 10 for any side bar the very top sides.

I've no doubt he'll start 'cos of WC and i think he'll play better rugby in a smaller club where there is less pressure. He was noticed in Conn. when they were whipping boys and now he's returning to a bottom-half-of-the-table-side that teams expect to win against.
I'll disagree with you all day long about him meriting a 3 year contract because it has shown to be a poor decision but i'm not trying to change your mind. I'm not saddened that he's leaving but do think it should have happened much earlier.

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
His form completely merited the contract extension at the time. You cant argue against that.
And how could it have been earlier that he left unless you wanted Munster to pay him to leave by getting him out of his contract?

    Okay.

    *whispers* ...or the mid-table sides...
