Had made a pick .... then realised that pick was ineligible ... so re-picked with Jeff Jarrett!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,025 ✭✭✭✭beakerjoe

Jeff Jarrett, Im a huge fan. Not my number 1 pick but hes a hugely versitille character and Im a huge fan of him in real life. He doesnt get the love he deserves.

Just discovered my original pick was valid! But I'm happy with Jarrett now.

With 1 ahead of me, MNG is going to take my pick.

But I have a back up plan. My number 2 pick this round is still available.

They were my original pick before I messed up and couldn't find their match. Great pick!

I never even considered them as I didn't think they had a match in TNA. I'm surprised they lasted this long as they usually go in the first three rounds I think.

The Road Warriors and Great Muta were 2 and 3 on my shortlist for this round, but my number one choice has made it through. Pick will be up shortly.

Thanks for making that pick, made my choice easy for me as I had two in mind that I was struggling to decide on but then it became one when I saw your selection.

Very quiet around these parts lately re: draft chat.

Some stellar main event worth picks being made and still to be made.

I love how every year every roster takes a certainly feel. There’s never a hodge podge of all sorts. They all round out.

“Jeez that roster is wall to wall killers. It has a real wrasslin’ feel to it.” “Getting a massive Attiude Era vibe off that roster” etc etc etc

Haha, I'm off running a game of Werewolf on Forum Games actually, keeping me busy what with this as well :pac:

Once it gets to round ten or so I plan to give thoughts on people's rosters in a bit of detail. I'll also have much more free time after this week to really start thinking about my roster plans :D

It's a really interesting phase of the game. Five picks could pass by and I might not have had any of the people taken under consideration. Just shows that players are now looking for different things as plans come together somewhat.

Happy to pick up Shayna in that round, gives me plenty options in my women's division.

Happy with New Day to take on LOD. Both popular, both capable of a high quality match and feud, both a completely different styles... Im happy.

Shayna is a quality pick. Great wrestler, naturally intimidating and decent on the mic.

    Sorry for the delay.

Delighted to get Bate this late. And Trent Seven gives me options.

They had been on my list as were a few others that went recently and kinda made me feel like I had to get a tag team now. The NAO will fit in nicely though and leave me more options for later picks

It was a straight pick for me between NAO and Bate/Seven. Fitting in with the roster got the deciding vote.

Far better home in BWA this year IMO.

British Strong Style definitely fit better with your hard hitting roster too. Was actually a singles guy I was considering too and you were the one I thought might take him but he's still on the board.

Like Necro I'm a little busy at the moment (his WW game adding to that but in a good way) but hope to comment on some rosters over the next few rounds. Slick's is a place I would not want to be a jobber in, thats for sure.

if it's the same person we're thinking of, there's a good reason why I'm not.

So my pick has to have held a title / championship gold.

Sure most wrestlers would have held some sort of title in there time?

What defines a title? Does the Million Dollar Belt or Internet Championship or a Indy fed Title count?

Indy titles yes due to the rules. Million Dollar Belt or Internet Championship as far as I know aren't recognised by the WWE as lineal titles, open to correction on that though.

Define worn a title.......... ie if someone steals a title and wears it, despite never holding it as a champion, does that count as "worn a title"?

:pac: No they have to have won it and held it, even if only for 5 mins like Reigns at Survivor Series as an example (using a drafted wrestler as an easy example)

Or Kane for a single night back in the day.

Just making sure if theres any loop holes with your wording.

I have a list of 40 guys....... none are effected by this stip.

It appears that unless the title stip is narrowed down to certain promotions it may as well not be there.

Surelt a Thanos led stip should rule make a large percentage of options vanish?

There's a reason it's not too limiting tbh. All will become clear in the next round...

I was aware of my great draw (a lot of people to follow me) this round and didn’t want to suggest narrowing the stip.

I think I’d echo the fact almost everybody has won some sort of title.

That little tidbit of information definitely pricks my ears, changes things and adds to the excitement.
