To a certain extent but based on THIS POST they won't be ordering more stock.

I bought a car over the weekend that needs a good valet.
I would like a machine polish and wax/seal on exterior, engine bay cleaned and the leather interior conditioned along with a proper valet.

Can anyone recommend someone in Kildare or west Dublin area?

    Thanks.

The only person I could suggest is Brian of spiritdetailing,
I know he is in Meath, but might be able to organise something between ye?

    Thanks,
But I would compare that to asking a Michelin star chef to butter me some crackers.
What I’m really looking for is a fairly comprehensive valet rather than a detail, but I might make contact with Brian to see what we can do.

Nearly everything you're looking for to be done are not things I would let just anyone do, especially the engine bay detail.

Bring it to Brian and rest assured that your car is in safe hands.

5 Star Auto Valet in Baldoyle might be a happy medium for you. Keith is spot on.

    Greetings all.

Recently purchased a 152 Audi A6 Avant SLine and want to get a job done similar to the "GTECHNIQ Protection Detail" these lads provide - -

    http://www.flawless.ie/services/protective-coatings-gtechniq

I'd go with the flawless lads only for they are based in Drogheda & I'm in Skerries.

    I work at the top end of O'Connell St, start at 6.45am and need to be on the road home to Skerries for 4pm and I'm wondering;

    a) is there any detailers in the city centre who can do a job similar to the flawless service mentioned above &

    b) is the timeframe I have, realistic enough to have such work carried out ??

Larry is returning full time to the detailing scene with Cleancar.ie
Delighted to hear. Larry is a good man who I learned a lot from.

This a quote from his facebook page for now .
    ***Breaking News***
We are absolutely delighted to announce today that as and from the 2nd of January, we are back full-time detailing
To say I’m excited about this is an understatement, I see myself as one of the luckiest people on the planet who can earn my crust from doing the thing that I love.

We will be based in new Ross as always, and we are extremely lucky to have a very secure, 24/7 monitored, fully insured, well insulated detailing unit.

The Cleancar.ie name will represent the detailing side of our business, but we will also have a shop where we will sell a limited line of detailing supplies and accessories. More on this very soon.

Thanks for all the support that people have given us since we went part time 4 years ago, your support has meant an huge amount.

    More updates during the week

    Hi,

My wife is picking up a new car next week. Dealer offering diamondbrite for 300 which she was considering.
Am I better off taking it to a detailer in Dublin area?
    Any recommendations?
I see cleanmycar off new car detail for same price is it worth it should I go elsewhere?

    Thanks

Much better off getting a pro to do it for you.
otherwise it is 300€ down the drain.
    Or
save yourself some money and buy a kit to look after it yourself?

Have to recommend 5 Star Auto Valet in Baldoyle. Always do an excellent job for me and attention to detail is second to none.

Anyone know someone reputable in Dublin who does engine bay details?

I looked at 5 star but they don't seem to do them:rolleyes:.

Ring them and ask. They might but just don't have it on their site.

I always use Robbie at Mirror Image Detailing. He;'s based at STONE Motorsport too so there's always awesome stuff to look at when you're dropping the car off! He's not the cheapest but in my opinion he's worth paying a bit extra for

The ones with most experience would be Brian (Spirit Detailing), Larry Kehoe (cleancar.ie) and Dave in D&D.

    Hi,

Some great info on this forum. I am picking up my new Megane R.S trophy in approx. two weeks, and was wondering what protective coatings people would recommend. I'm staying away from the dealers offers as I think the one size fits all dealer valeter will make a mess of it.

I am going to bring the car to a detailer, and I've love some help with 2 questions first:

    1) Would people recommend a ceramic coating? (why yes or no please!)
    2) In the Dublin/Leinster area, who would you recommend. I've seen Spirit detailing mentioned here alot, has anyone used them or know anything about them? Also Ceramic Pro Ireland are at alot of shows etc, has anyone used them, or know anything about them.

    Any suggestions gratefully received.
