It was mid December around the 14th or so last year so probably the same this year.

With the semis gone in the league, it's essentially a loyalty scheme to get tickets for the bigger games for the top teams.

It's not good value for about 25 counties I'd say.

Not the bigger games. Just the one game. The All Ireland Final. There is absolutely no other benefit to it any more. I was a Cork football season ticket holder for six years .I missed 3 matches in 2010, none in 2011, 1 in 2012, none in 2013, 1 in 2014, 3 in 2015. 2016 I missed a lot more and ultimately gave up on the season ticket after that. If somehow Cork did make an All Ireland final, I know i'd be able to get one. I like hurling but only in an armchair sense. If you gave me two All-Ireland final tickets if cork got there, I'd give them away, so for me it really isn't worth it any more.

It's not just county. Can save you a bomb if you get a club plus ticket and you don't need to attend a single game to be guaranteed an intercounty AI final ticket. I reckon last year I easily saved over 100 euro just off not having to pay into club matches.

That's fair enough. I don't go to enough club matches to justify that. Am I right in thinking Cork aren't involved in the club plus?

Is that all Club matches. I use my mates Parnell pass for Dublin champo games. Could it be used for Leinster Final or All Ireland Semi final club.

Think Parnell is seperate to the general intercounty season tickets so I can't speak to the Dublin one. I'm led to believe you might have to pay for provincial final/all ireland semi but you do still get the Paddy's Day final free under the club+ season ticket.

You get Paddys day on the regular season ticket too.

Me too. Have Dublin football ST don’t have hurlers.
Sometimes there’s a double header so that’s free in. When hurlers play in Croke Park and not double header I use my mates Wexford hurling ST.
Sometimes they play on same day but different venue, I go the football.
And pay in to the rest. A ST would be a waste of money for me.

Getting a Galway hurling ST club+ and also a junior. Do the same rules apply to the junior?
As in...the % of games attended for AI ticket doesn't apply to the club+. I presume it's the same for the junior?

If you get club plus you don’t have to attend any games at all and you are still entitled to a final ticket if Galway get there. Applies to junior too.

The lack of dual ticket option is a real frustration. I follow Cork Footballers and Hurlers from Donegal. If I'm lucky there is double headers or the Footballers are up here in Ulster (like this year) but otherwise it's a struggle getting to 60% of both, and I attend every week of Allianz Leagues, somewhere!

Is there a junior club plus ticket available.

If it's the ordinary junior season ticket then you have to go to sixty percent of the games.

The Club Plus season ticket will allow you access to the All Ireland Senior final, Should your county reach it.

The juvenile Ticket would require 60% attendance.

Hi all, new season ticket holder here with a few questions. Got it in the post before Christmas but I've never used one before, do you just walk up to the gate or a certain gate and have it scanned?
Also bought the brother one as a gift for his birthday so I set up an account in his name. How do you change the card so it'll be his card the money for the tickets will be taken from? Cheers in advance!!

Most grounds will have a stile sign saying "SEASON TICKET" above it. In Croker you can go in any Cusack Stand stíle.

Re charging a card; go into Your Season tickets account www.seasontickets.ie and change it there.

As above, you just go up to the stile and scan the tickets to get entry, particularly for league games where there is plenty of availability and plenty of seats.

However, if the match is going to sell out, printed E-tickets with your seats details are made available on the seasontickets.ie portal. They normally go up about a week before the match or wednesday before the match is due to take place.

In croke park - you normally need to have a printed E- Ticket printed off which is scanned - you dont need the cards for this. The printed E- ticket has your seat. Even for club all ireland finals and other league games where there are lots , I have always have to print off the E- Ticket when the game is on Croke Park.
For other league venues , where the match is not going to sell out , they normally get you to scan the card.

As the year goes on , they will send out an email to let you know if the fixture entry will be E- ticket or by scanning the card.

The attendance is updated then the following Tuesday or Thursday as well and in croke park it was nearly updated straight away.

Unless you have a club plus season ticket (costing 200e) , you have to attend 60 percent of your teams league and championship games in order to get a all ireland ticket.

Another good feature is that if you have a Hurling pass, you can get entry into ANY hurling league match for free, regardless if your county is playing or not. (well at least I did in 2018).

I did up a spreadsheet from a couple of years 09, 12 and 15 I think, on the value and lack of from the season ticket, based on match's I'd gone too (100%)
