The six people waiting to play... So only 1-2 get on each night and the rest get nothing?

Have no complaints with Jeremy, enjoy him actually, even though I generally dislike him.

I didn't mind him at first but he is starting to really grate on me. I think he is becoming a caricature of himself like he is on Top Gear/The Grand Tour

You just know he asked for Ask the Host to be added

Really depends on who owns the format. Remember this is in many countries, doubt it would be changed for one presenter in one country.
They just rejigged it to keep it interesting.

Just googled it. Ask the host is available in the Thai and now UK verson. Thai version the contestant picks what he thinks might be correct. Host does the same. UK version the host gives unlimited chat as to what he thinks

You could say maybe it wasn't Jeremy's choice to add it. But it's very coincidental that this version is the one where the format changes. And in fact where he spouts a lot of bull but doesn't actually know anything other than a hash tag has 8 points.

The Erasure question, I mean surely any one who grew up in the 80s knew ridgeley was in Wham, Lowe was in the pet shop boys and Bell was in erasure?

In fairness the logic he offered about the hash tag was precise. I doubt 99% of people have heard of the word itself or have it embedded in their brain such as there is no doubt so logic is your only go to. He changed the contestants mind so can't call him out

Have to say I am enjoying this series. Only a personal opinion but I think Clarkson is better this time than last and better than Tarrant. Wasn't a huge fan of Tarrant though.

Annoying the number of breaks, and first 5 questions are a waste of time.

I didn't bother with the last 15 mins of last night's show as there was no way they would get through the FFF round and first five questions in 15 mins including breaks. Figure I could pick it up tonight and not miss anything.

Also can't understand the very short series run, just 6 episodes? Perhaps all those frequent ads are at a highly premium rate based on the short run / high audience.

I didn't call him out on the hash tag. I begrudgingly gave him a slight credit for it saying it's the only thing he knew. :D

    What a waste of a 50/50

This one won't go far. Far too weak minded and non ballsy.

Rejects 70% audience vote for a few thousand and then sets her limit at 8k

    Waste of a player

Did she expect a 100% audience vote!

God Clarksons scripted ad break "jokes" are tiresome

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,643 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

OMG he picked wrong one, A-ha are not in their 90's like Sean Connery

Husband is currently having a freak out here beside me saying the same thing!!:D

Maybe it's his age, but this guy is a simpleton. He's wasted all his lifelines on easy questions, and is still wrong. How can he say that he ruled out Brosnan but still thinks it could be Connery?

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 34,990 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

His logic of not being Brosnan was good but he then písses all over that by picking Connery, deserves to lose.

I mean everyone knows the group A-HA, and it was not in the 50's they were popular, it was the late 80's. Sean Connery was not Bond in the late 80's.

    :D

And to be fair, your mate giving you the wrong answer would definitely unsettle you.
