Maybe it's because I am older than that guy and was taught feet and inches at home and in National School before metric measurement existed,but it's something most people should know without having to work it out.

I was working with both imperial and metric tools at the same as a teenager old days.

I could go on about what spanner is in each size but the he had the numbers but not the result.

Jeremy being particularly snarky and rude to the last contestant - who wasn't very good, to be fair, but as Chris Tarrant used to say "they're only easy if you know the answer".


No need to be quite so obnoxious. Just as well it's got to the end of the run, he sounds like he needs a break from it.
