    Could he do this tonight?

Aristotle or Socrates..........he couldn't decide between them, Clarkson couldn't help him, right choice to take 250k.
He really wanted to take Aristotle but correct decision not to gamble.

Jaysus, this fella fairly undersold himself as a "delivery driver"!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,846 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

Oh he could have doubled his money. Shame. But he did a great job in getting in a huge amount of money. Well done to him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,081 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Ah, that's a shame - had the right answer - but absolutely right not to gamble for it

The last guy was very knowledgeable and deserved his £250,000. Could have been double had he the conviction. Nice way to end the series.

Claire Balding is the first contestant for the Celebrity special tonight.

This is not being broadcast on VM1 tonight. I have no idea when it's on there. It's on UTV/ITV for those who have it right now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,846 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

    Oooh Claire Balding. Ouch!

Is this on virgin media at any stage does anyone know?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,846 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

The VM TV guide on the website is not showing any Christmas spirit so far with showing this episode up until NYD. Unless VM change their minds at the last minute by knocking off one of their repeats; it's not going to be shown until after NYD. Jesus Wept. I am glad that I am not solely depending on them for seeing this show.

A woman on there on Virgin 1 was asked what animal lived in a drey, she didnt know so asked the host and Jeremy said he owns a farm so he has to go into the woods and remove the squirrel dreys to stop them damaging the trees, it was the correct answer but that was total gibberish logic! He wasnt joking either he was totally serious... There isnt a farmer on the planet that gives a sh1t about squirrels ffs most would be glad to see them! Total toff pretending to know anything about farming.

The new Celebrity episode of WWBTAM is on ITV right now since 7pm.

If you want a repeat showing; ITV+1 is at 8pm or 12:05am on ITV/UTV.

don't think so as the planner says s2 ep5

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,122 ✭✭✭✭Thargor

I just skip the celebrity ones, easy questions up to 32k for everyones charity then at the end even softer questions so one charity gets 125k, its boring.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,846 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

Quiz has just started on ITV. Two familiar Irish faces are currently on it when it went to ITV's offices in Grays Inn Road.

For those of you who want more of a millionaire fix for later. I just started watching the new U.S. Celebrity version with Jimmy Kimmel tonight.

New episodes are aired on ABC every Wednesday. They are uploaded on Youtube the day after.

Yes he really lucked out. I didn't remember it, even though it's a quite well known line and had heard it. Never read any of the 4 books listed.

The last millionaire winner was in 2006. Clarkson took over in 2018.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,806 ✭✭✭An Ciarraioch

That was relatively easy for £500,000.

I think it's Churchill, but you couldn't gamble that much on a hunch!

I didnt know it but it was a pretty easy million question when you think about it, you'd expect everyone who goes on a British quiz show to have read the Wiki article for Churchill also you'd expect anyone smart enough to get to the million to be the kind of person who's read a Churchill biography or two in their life aswell.
