Picked up The Messenger just before the current steam sale. Retro side scroller in the vein of Shovel Knight but better in my opinion

@ RopeDrink have you any interest in Lost Ark?
Cant wait myself, hopefully they do an English version, yes we can play open beta if we jump through some hoops to play the korean version but sounds too frustrating to me, tonnes of streamers doing it however and it looks so good. i

Been Playing Ryse: son of Rome.
Combat is ok but I'm enjoying the environments and story.

I'm halfway through already and it's made me realise how many games would off the backlog if I stopped playing Total War Warhammer.

Had a few rounds of Ring Of Elysium last night. Much preferred it to PUBG. GET TO DAH CHOPPAH!

Yes i also indulged in D2 Forsaken expansion and had a blast for about 5 weeks but just got burned out, forsaken really is a fantastic expansion but cant help feeling it is what the game should have shipped as instead of DLC a year after.

    Finished it.
Really enjoyed the story and setting.

Going to keep it short but sweet for the next one so trying to decide between Space Marine, Portal 2 or LIMBO.

    Playing the Tomb Raider Trilogy.

Just finished 1&2 so starting 3 at the weekend. It's amazing that I am appreciative that I can play a single player game without getting bombarded by microtransaction requests.

    Industry is fawked.

As for the games, to be honest I have enjoyed them more than the OG game on the PS1, and its sequels.

Assuming you're talking about the reboot trilogy.

Loved the first one and think I might pick up the second in the steam sale as it's only €9.99.

Replayed a few levels of Doom a while ago on my 49" 4k Tv. Looks amazing last time I played it was a 1440p 144Hz monitor but 4k 60Hz is amazing also. Probably actually prefer it as I cannot tell the difference between 60/75Hz and 144Hz.

Destiny 2 and 7Days to Die have been my jam for the last few weeks with a few doses of RDR 2 on my PS4

    Mortal Kombat (2011) on XBox360.

GTA V at 4k even though I played it countless times. I just like driving around the map at speed and every now and then having a shoot out jump back in car and take off.

Im currently playing a game called Kenshi on PC. Very good game but requires a bit of patience and learning to really unlock its true potential but its a game I can see myself coming back to for years to come.

It doesn't really fall under a genre as it can be played how you please. Control just the character you create or start a city and have control over everyone you have recruited. Set jobs so they automate actions or be in control of everything is going.

Be a warlord, trader, wanderer, farmer, whatever you want really.

Bit of a niche game but the only game I can think of with most similarities then other games is Mount and Blade, so if anyone here loves M&B maybe try looking up Kenshi on steam :)

Taking a break from rocket league and am playing some Just Cause 3. Not my typical type of game but it's relaxing. Map traversal is the best of any game I've ever played, even if it is comically unrealistic.

It came up on my Discovery Queue on the Steam Store the other day, and I added it to my wishlist. Looks interesting.

I'm skipping between Civilization 5 and Empire Total War(Using DarthMood). I have most of the total wars but i love the large campaign map in Empire.

I followed it for a long time before buying it after leaving early access. Its playable now and only getting better with time as there is patches it for every other day.

I'm bouncing from one game to another. Yesterday, i ran Ark Survival Evolved just to see Raptor Claws dropping presents and i played it for a couple of hours in single player.:pac:

Empire used to be my favourite too. But I've played the crap out of it over the years with and without mods.
Cant find the will to get past the 10 turn mark on any campaigns I've attempted in the last year or so.

Warhammer 1/2 are my new favourites but I'm finding I'm feeling the same way about those games now too. Except for for the odd online battle with friends I can't bring myself to play any total war game anymore. Think I'm just burned out of their formula.

I'll probably skip 3 kingdoms altogether and that will be the first one Ive missed sense Rome 1.

I'm playing this as well, and it's great. So much to do, and figure out. Found an old abandoned library, and had to be very careful to hide from the swarms of spiders that were patrolling. Got away with a ton of loot though, and it's going towards starting my new base (once i find somewhere to put it).
