Started Titanfall 2 tonight. Liking it so far though not used to using X and V to do things
You're in for one of the best SP games in a long time, takes a while to get going but it's fantastic

Playing through Dragon Age Inquistion again, after seeing the tease for the new one. Really enjoying it, and just got to
    Skyhold
. Never actually played most of the DLC, and didn't even start Trespasser, so interested to give those a go.

I never warmed to Inquisition for some reason, Have tried it twice and gave up after a few hours each time.

Currently in the process of doing the same. Its so clunky and slooooooowwwwwww compared to the previous games in the series.

Dota 2 Auto Chess. Custom game for dota 2. It's bloody addictive!

I know a lot of the criticism was around the MMO style quests, but you can ignore the vast majority of them. Basically ignore any requisition orders and any side quests to collect 5 rams heads (or whatever). They only give you a small amount of XP and power, and you get more then enough from the main quests and proper side quests (some of which aren't half bad).

It is kind of clunky though, and the inventory management isn't great. Actually playing with a controller this time around, and it's grand. Clearly designed for it, as the tactical mode makes more sense for a controller then a keyboard (at least the way the implemented it).

The bloody camera system annoys the hell out of me, in those games

I have to say it but DA:I is just an absolute awful mess of a game, dull boring with so much missed potential. Im a huge fan of DA:Origins, hated DA2, and DA:I i thought was just awful. I finished it after 130 hours but after 40 i was bored. The wonderful environments are destroyed by having absolutely nothing to do, other than the desert/time mission which is excellent the other areas are just boring.
I really wish it was a good game but its one of my most hated games ever. This game was the game that made me decide that most/all gamer review sites are full of ****e. I can understand "maybe its not for me" but no, the sites raving about this made its obvious they just did it for $$$, reminds me of C&VGs review of Rise Of The Robots.

Crap game, get out while you can.

Hello all! I've gotten back into gaming a bit more than I used to recently. I'm a total girl though so don't like anything with too much fighting. I was obsessively playing stardew valley until recently and now I'm playing Harvest Moon Light of Hope. So it seems I've found my place with indie farm simulation games :p

You should try Moonlighter and My Time at Portia. Both are similar but have varying degrees of mechanics that deserve attention :)

Thanks for your suggestions, I'll have a look into Moonlighter. I downloaded My Time At Portia but it was a while ago and it was still in early development and so slow. Not sure if that's my crappy old laptop either though.

Im still playing Ghost Recon, Wildlands and despite my initial reaction to the game im really enjoying it. OK its repetitive but the game world is great and its keeping me coming back..

Still really enjoying Ghost Recon: Wildlands and despite my best efforts to move onto next game on my play list I keep going back to Wildlands to try to get it complete. It has its flaws (repetativeness) but there is a very decent game there trying to get out. Dipping in and out of DayZ a small bit as well.

    1) Exapunks, it's a Zactronics game where you have to program little nanobots to solve various tasks.
    2) Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, it's in a current Humble Bundle, fun game where you stealth your way through levels using a squad with different abilities. It's almost a puzzle game in some instances, some of it is fairly straightforward but you can set up your squad to act simultaneously which lets you remove large numbers of enemies in one go without aggro-ing everyone in sight.

The predator and Sam Fisher missions are super cool. I must say I had real fun playing this with random pugs to unlock all the unlockables.

PVP is also a blast, you get a crazy amount of gaming for your dollar with this one and it also looks gorgeous.

I've only recently given it a rest to unlock some division shields for Div2, which I'm hoping will be a cracker.

Coming to the end of my DA Inquisition run now (really enjoyed this again i have to say), and think i'll give Valkyria Chronicles 4 a go next. Loved the first, and this seems to be very similar.

Resigned up to Origin Access Basic, there a couple of game there I wanted to try out. Playing Star Wars Battlefield 2,is it just me or is it a major disappointment, even the single player campaign is just alright.

I find most EA games in general are just eye candy.

Played a bit of Apex Legends today, now BR game by Respawn based on titan fall (but without titans).

    It's cancer, avoid.

It's black out with magic and space ships. The gun play is terrible, the voice chat is broken, the constant voice prompts are annoying.

    It's trash.

Its been a long time since EA havnt had a "Game as a service" game, most of their recent output is just trash. Much as i didnt think much of the story their last good game was Mass Effect 3, everything since is just microtransactions based. Inquisition in hindsight seemed like a frankensteins monster of single player game and mmorpg.

Battlefield 2 was one of my fav games ever but everything after Bad Company 2 was just a CoD clone.

I actually have 0 interest in EA and its forthcoming releases and i pretty much discount it, and i used to love them from Deluxe Paint.

The direction EA are on is not something i'm interested and at this stage i just ignore their output.

I havent played it probably wont as i dislike BR games but bad gunplay and respawn does not go together.
Bad gunplay? I highly doubt it tbh.

Zero recoil. It plays exactly like COD black ops 4.

Apex Legends may not be for everyone but it's a very good game, and considering it's free, it really puts it right up there for me.....and I don't really like BR games normally. To call it cancer or trash just because you don't like the gunplay is a bit OTT. It's not like it was being pushed as an ARMA style combat simulator.

PUBG still exists, just play that if you prefer a more grounded game. I've been playing a good bit of AL across the PC and Xbox. It's genuinely a great game, very accessible.
