I've got the same back 4 along with AWB.

I've got 2 FTs and not sure if I want to make a big move as I may give Kane some time.

I'm right in thinking I can bring one forward to next week. It's been so long since I've been in this position.
Yeah use one and you will have 2 the following week again
Could be invaluable this time of year
Im still weighing up sane to sterling
Midweek team sheets will help me decide

I prefer sterling’s goal threat and captaincy appeal

And he feels much more of a season keeper than Sane. Have a feeling with Sane u might always feel grass is greener when Mendy is back

Lacazette and Son both have nice fixtures next week but there are too much of rotation risks.

I’ve also Sane & Sterling with one of those likely to rotate next week.

Have 0.9m ITB... who do I bring in. Do I bring in Salah & a 5.9m forward or Hazard & 8mil forward for Laca & Son.

Or do Laca & Diagana out ?

    Bar any injuries today....

    Mitrovic/Brooks --> Kamara/Felipe Anderson

Brooks being dropped so no good as a sub, prefer Andreson to Mitrovic as my 11th man. Will be 3-5-2 most weeks now.

I'm thinking Laporte to Trippier, City are always conceding

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,685 ✭✭✭sheroman01

Hmmmm. I can do Son+Anderson out for Hazard+Snodgrass. Rival brought in Anderson though and I'm not too sold on Snodgrass, despite his recent form.

There is a real lack of mid range forward and midfield options this year.

From 7m to 9.5m is a bit of a graveyard

Was thinking Auba in for Kane. But may now get Ings. And use the extra cash to improve my midfield/defense

Think I'll just downgrade Auba and get Hazard back in.

Thoughts on Kane to Kamara and Gunnarsson to Salah for - 4? Have the exact funds to do it Kane has looked poor but his fixtures are so good

Didnt' see the game, but is Hazard worth it - Pedro for a fraction of the price has pretty much matched him over the last 6/7 weeks.

Ah now there are a fair few midfield players (first two I think should be at least 7m), the likes of Pedro, Mkhitaryan, Anderson, Son, Eriksen, Ricky, Divla, Mahrez, Marital

Up front there isn't much i do agree.

Long term there is a lot of sense in it.

Short term I am not so sure. With so much rotation over Christmas I think I will be avoiding minuses

Auba could have had three today

Pedro is less and Mhky, Ricky, Anderson all started as less.. I should have been more obvious in what I meant.

Think the Spurs lads not firing is making a big difference.

Pedro is always being rotated. It's a pain owning him

Does anyone’s have any real strong opinions on who to sell between Alonso and Robertson.

I may have to sell one of them as it’s hard to justify having both at the minute. I think.

Also I want Doherty amd Digne but don’t want to play 4 at the back.

I have both and will keep both for now
If one goes it will be alonso
    Robertson is so so attacking
Alonso doesnt seem to be anymore

I honestly don't know where I would use the money right now. Though maybe as a move combined with Salah out in a few ganeweeks . Alonso, Salah, Fraser to Digne Hazard,Mane

Would agree with Alonso being the one sacrificed

If Hazard continues to play as a striker a more conventional winger in the Chelsea team will limit Alonso's attacking threat some bit, he also seemed a bigger assist threat when he was pinging crosses into Giroud earlier in the season something which also wont happen with Hazzard as striker

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,383 ✭✭✭S.M.B.

I would probably sell the one you have the least money tied up in as you may want to bring them back.

I'm tempted to do Alonso, Camarasa and PEA to 4.2 defender, Anderson and Aguero but may leave it another while.

Want to get some west ham cover in but don't really know how.

I’ve both but getting frustrated with Alonso. Great fun to own but by getting rid of him & Eriksen, could get Salah & 4.5 in. Overall, feel the latter could return more points, plus Salah is an obvious (C) choice

For all pool's attempts today, I don't think Salah did much? Pool also play city and arsenal back to back over the xmas period - so not really sure it's worth getting him in now.

The chances are most people know my opinions on Alonso, and so if you have held in till now - then why sell him now?

As for Robertson, he was up and down the United wing all match, and even more so when Dalot came off at half time, so If I had to choose one to get it would be Robertson.

Southampton just put 3 pass Arsenal. Wouldn't be concerned by them anyway.

I have the funds to do Auba to Aguero and have 0.1m left over. What do you reckon? I miss having Aguero tbh.

Wait to see midweek team sheets

One of many many moves I’ve considered :D

Would it be madness to sacrifice Kane and auba to get Salah and hazard in?

Arsenal under-estimated them - won't make same mistake against pool

Of the 36 shots today - how many were for Salah?

    Dejan or Digne?

Does anyone know if Bendarek will be a starter when all Southamptons defenders are fit, I'm not expecting them to suddenly start keepping cs but it'd be nice to have a starter as bench fodder

I'm very tempted to do a -8 tonight as I want Snodgrass for Torreira, but I would be 0.4m short. I could however do Torreira, Wan-Bissaka and Auba out and bring Snodgrass, Bednarek and Aguero in.

Need to make a decision soon as any rises and I won't be able to do it.

Edit: Decided to hold off on any moves for the time being.

    TAA out and Digne in.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

    Patricio

    Robbo Kola AWB Fernandez Zanka

    Son Sane Sterling Richarlison Diangana

    Kane Lacazette Wilson

    0.9m

Any advice be much appreciated been slipping and sliding or late

Need to change players in every line. What’s priority??

Alonso only had 55 touches of the ball today nearly half of what he averages usually when hazard plays ahead of him in games where they dominate

The previous game via city with hazard up top he only had 61 but thats against city

Going off xg numbers azipuliceta has a higher expected assist per 90 then him now although barely

One more game like that and hell be gone for me at least

    For a -4 I can do

    Ricky to hazard
    Alonso to 4.8 or under...

    Yay or nay?

    Something to chew on
Not madly keen to get rid of Ricky but it'd be lovely to have a middle of salah sterling sane haz Anderson. Sane to kdb next couple of weeks once he's back in. Clyne would probably be too much of a rotation risk. Not many clean sheet magnets to be had in the price range

Not much wrong with that squad imo. Maybe Fernández to Digne?

We can't have em all. Ricky is a solid hold for me even if you have no value tied up in him and am now scared of my own lack of Everton attackers given their kind run of upcoming fixtures.

Plan your 1/2 for captains over the next 5 and ditch Salah or a city mid instead if they don't make the captaincy cut.

I think Digne will keep pace with Alonso short term especially if he gets some free kicks but Silva is demanding a lot from him and Coleman and it may continue to hamper their CS prospects.

    I agree with this.

Very hard to take out Lacazette this week with Arsenal home to Burnley. Upgrading Diangana without taking out Lacazette is a straight swap to Snodgrass.

However would I play Snodgrass this week home to Watford when I have

    Son v eve
    Richarlison v TOT
    Sterling v CPL
    Sane v CPL
    Kane v eve
    Wilson v BHA
    Lacazette v BUR

If I go Fernandez to Digne, I wouldn’t be looking for a clean sheet as I have Son & Kane. Could be there for future. I do want Digne so might just go with that.

I also want shot of Patricio so could always get Fabianski in here.

Really looking like I’ll bank for 2FT and get rid of Lacazette & Diangana next week while hoping Fernandez or Kola are back this week

Have 4.6m to replace Vinagre (who's been a complete disaster).

    Any suggestions?
    Maybe a Hudd/New def.
Already have Fabianski so don't fancy double WHM.

Hudderesfield looks the right call, can't see any Newcastle clean sheets in the next 6 games.

If you're feeling punty, Clyne could get a run with injuries.

2 FT's but with Spurs/Arsenal/City/Chelsea all playing midweek I'm ignoring price action, seeing who plays and waiting until the pressers. This GW feels pivotal to me as we're heading into the crazy Christmas run. So any transfer decisons will likely have a bigger impact than normal. Definately not the week to be taking unnnecessary risks like early transfers IMO.

Who is this Guaitre lad that played in goals for Crystal Palace at weekend?....he’s 4.2 m and I’m thinking of replacing Hamer to have two playing keepers for busy holiday period.

Hennessy had back spasms pre game. He's ahead of Speroni obviously but Hennessy could be straight back in. He's apparently somewhat comfortable with the ball at his feet. No idea how Palace play so don't know if that's relevant or not.
