There seems to be a fair chunk of players injured so far this season. Hopefully will see some of them back in the new year

It's about par for the course really. We've been a bit luckier this year in that we have better depth in the squad so we we've been able to cover for the likes of Murray, Farrell and TOD being missing.

    Return of the JJ

Great news there, JJ is probably the right call to keep - I think Keats has had his shot, served us well but JJ can still improve, only 26.

This has been said soooo soooo many times before, and never happens.

Ah it is really. Just when you see it written down you'd be more conscious of it I guess.

Cronin can be re-added as a designated front row player for the knockouts. If he wasn't a front row player it would be a more ominous sign.

He can actually be re registered in the Pool stages in place of the player that was swapped in for him.

I assume Munster taking no chances as you must have 6 front rows in every squad.

Listening to Michael Corcoran's interview there on rte radio with Van Graan said there's still some contracts to go. Guess that was always the case and some players likely to leave too, but sounds positive that there may be 2/3 other extensions to go between now and the end of the season.

It still doesn't mean he won't improve at 26. Look at ROM, out of nowhere was our top scorer and one of our best players last season at age 28, 10 tries in 22 games and then (cruelly) broke his leg as we reached the business end of the season.

JJ is worth keeping on as a squad member imo, I doubt his contract is mad money either.

I just think it's mad when we have **** all coverage at 9 (thank god we drafted Alby Mathewson) and yet can pay for about twenty (yes number is exaggerated) fly-halfs.

You've the same number of 10s as you do 9.

    Murray, Williams, Cronin, Hart, Mathewson.

    JJ, Keatley, Carbery, Johnston, TB.

Any idea if any more tickets will become available for the Leinster game on the 29th?

    Predicted team for Castres
    Killer Scannell Ryan
    Beirne Holland
    POM Cloete Cj
    Murray Carberry
    Scannell Farrell
    Earls Conway Haley(presuming he’s fit)
Reps: KOB Scott Archer(presuming he’s gotten over his sickness) Wycherley Botha Cronin JJ Arnold
Only deliberation i would have is Tyler/Jj for 22 but i feel JJ’s ability to play 15 gives him the edge

Hearing there’s doubts about PoM and Carbery for Sunday, if there’s anything in it hopefully it’s Tyler to 10, wouldn’t mind seeing Coombes given a go in a match of this standard, but it’ll probably be CJ to 6 and Botha at 8.

They’d be two huge loses. Any credibility behind the source? Yeah one would suspect that would be the case if POM gone with Coombes/Oliver on the bench or potentially they could put O’Shea there aswell as Wycherley as a result of Beirnes flexibility. 10 is an interesting one perhaps JJ’s poor kicking mightn’t be a factor as Scannell and Murray are more than capable. Will be interesting but fingers crossed it doesn’t have to come to it!

JVG was talking about the combination of Murray and Carberry during the week so let’s pray he’s in the know!

Source is spot on 90% of the time, hope this is the 10% as we really need to knock Castres back on their heels before heading over there.

they're always first to go, short of getting lucky with a season ticket no hope.

Get north, get in early, and try get into the east

Is that doable yeah? I've tried it in Musgrave Park before and it's hit and miss. Thought it wouldn't be possible in TP!
