The edited video that you state is edited is now the gospel?

You have to wonder why Mrs Speilberg edited it.

    LOL

    BBFAN has lost the plot.

The Guard's tie is held firmly when the shot is fired, Stop reinventing the facts. If I thought a dog was a threat to me I would use whatever force was needed to remove the threat.

So the youtube clip from post 9 is a completely different incident? Because his tie is streached tight, you can even see it in the still i posted.

This is starting to get very strange and confusing.

Yep the Virgin news clip shows the actual shooting...I do not see that on clip on first page

Do you have any support to prove th Guard and van driver were friends??

Nope, no more than the people who claim the traveller had a slash hook have support.

But I do know he wouldn't have been risking his life and career for someone he didn't know. That is definitely a fact.

Answer me this all the "shoot em all dead" crew. Why should an off duty guard have any more respect than an ordinary joe?

Was he off duty? As to the respect thing it's just common sense not to set your dog on an armed individual and hope nothing happens to your dag.

So has anyone got an answer as to why this savage killer dog is so silent?

It's mouth was full of the guard's tie prehaps , what's your explanation?

You're still not answering the question.

If so many people in this thread claim that the youtube clip from post 9 was very strongly edited how can they then claim it's gospel?

Then go back and watch the video on page 1 again.

No it’s not a definite fact, only in your head is it a fact

So you admit she edited it? So we can't take that as gospel so?

So you think that an off duty detective would stop and get involved in this situation if he didn't have some motive?

    Bless that you're that naïve.

You were asked for proof that the detective was off duty.

The one from post 9 has the incident but the gun is slightly out of frame as it goes of. Is youtube not working for you? You can see it as the top result if you type "garda shoots traveller" on youtube. It seems to be much longer and has the dialogue where the garda says "get him to let go of me"

A blind man can see it's edited but the guard can be clearly heard saying "get him to let go" also "watch him Toby" can be heard before the shot is fired as for take as gospel wtf are you on about?

    What was the Detectives motive?

Again, why do you assume he's off duty?

It has reported on every single source of media that a dog was killed and yet you still don't believe it? Bias much?

Read what I posted and try again ;)

You claimed on several occasions that he was off duty and friends with the van driver - you are presenting those 2 points as fact

Yet you seem to have zero support to back up these “facts”

So if you have evidence to support both of those points then provide that evidence, otherwise your 2 points can be ignored as just an idea that you seem to have come up with for no logical reason

Is there any footage which shows the dog?

You're unreasonably cynical if you think they wouldn't.

Most Gardai would get involved if they felt there was a serious threat. Off duty just means off shift. It doesn't mean they have no responsibility to get involved.

BBFAN was all over the Casey thread defending travellers.
He makes up a lot of stuff to suit his arguments.
    Pay no attention.
He has been asked by posters to prove that the garda was off duty and that he had a pal there but seemingly and unsurprisingly cannot.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,980 ✭✭✭✭tuxy

There are two different stories being posted on whatsapp and facebook. One story by travellers and one by friends of the man who owns the van.
In one story the detective is friends with the man who owns the van

And even using bits from both stories I can't make judgment on what happened yet. Still lots of info missing.

    What was the Detectives motive?

That it was his mates van. Fairly simple.

They're a cunt to put on, in fairness. And you usually need to have your top button closed for them to stay on, so it feels like you're getting strangled regardless.

    They're not.
Get a shirt with the proper collar size, it's not that hard really.

BBFAN has never defended travellers. I challenge you to produce a post where I have done so?
