There was a lottery for each level. What that means is if there were tickets left after the full member lottery, then those remaining tickets would be distributed through a lottery of the associate members.

With the amount of us that bought directly from Gloucester I'm amazed that people missed out. I seriously think there could be as many Munster supporters in the ground as Gloucester supporters.

For 6N lottery ya? Guess chances are slim that tickets would get that far?

That was for Gloucester. I doubt there'll be an AM lottery for the 6N as they usually only get a few hundred tickets.

With a fit Tyler back, Bill Johnson going well in his appearances and Carberry being so prolific, is it time to let go of Keatley/Hanrahan/Both? Ben Healy and Jake Flannery also are two u20 AIL starters in Munsters academy and Sub-academy respectively

Keatley will be let go at the end of the season. Personally I'd keep JJ as a squad player as he can cover across the backline/play pro 14 games. It's a shame he's never lived up to the hype

Has to let some go but it'll be end of season

Id keep Keatley over JJ if he wanted to stay. Has shown more and can cover across backline/play P14 as much as JJ would.

I've always thought Keatley would have made a better 12 then a 10. He's pretty big, good hands and throws himself around in the contact area. He doesnt have the kicking game/vision to be a 10 unfortunately.

Carbery and Johnston are the only 10s signed up for next year. Bleyendaal's injury history is a red flag but I'd look to keep him around. If the management believe one of the academy players can step up to be 4th choice (3rd choice during RWC) then both Keatley and Hanrahan could be gone.

Can’t help but think Edinburgh was the ideal opportunity to play Bill Johnson. Surrounding with Earls Murray Farrell Peter ect for the first time can only be good for him and his development. Looked ready for all the challenges he’s come against. Maybe that was the last chance saloon for JJ? it’s an interesting one

JJ played well with ball in hand against Edinburgh so I've no idea what you're on about saying last chance saloon. He had a poor night from the tee, but none of the kicks were sitters he should've been guaranteed.

Yeah and shame we didnt play him there more.
Wouldnt say he doesnt have vision to be a 10. His kicking can be fine its consistency/mental side of playing there that seems to be factor.
12 is a good shout but wont see it happening now.

Id agree with the above. I'll rephrase my initial comment. Keatley has the vision to see what should be done in a situation e.g. good tactical kick but its in his head where he lets himself down. He just doesnt have the mental strength to play as a top level 10 (not saying that's easy btw).
For me has the physical attributes to be a really player but its the mental side where he just isnt good enough.
Hopefully he gets a good contract abroad for the tail end of his career.

I think he's better than JJ.
JJ would be a good option at 12. He just is not going to be a top level 10 at this point.
I see Bill Johnson as a good 10 in the future and I think he should be getting into the 23 when facing poor opposition.
I think Keatley would get a contract in England as a back up 10.
JJ probably won't. He's been in the premiership and didn't go well.
And then there's TB. Always injured and rarely strings together a decent run of games?
I guess it would all come down to salaries. From a checkbook standpoint, who is more affordable?

I dunno if Number 10 is the place to be scrimping on salary.

I think Keatley is ahead of JJ simply on the basis that he has been having a decent season so far while JJ has shown flashes of talent mixed with some very underwhelming performances.

Tyler is on last chance saloon though. He's a good player but we can't afford to keep someone who has such a serious injury profile.

Keatley has had 4 appearances off the bench (including the horror show in Bleomfontein). Not sure form that how you can say Keatley is having a decent season.

JJ for comparison has had 5 starts and 3 sub appearances and outside his place kicking played well on Friday. Personally though I'd let both of them go and give more game time to Johnston.

Bill Johnson needs to perform better and pass these guys out. He cant simply just be played at 10.
Im not sure he necessarily is better than JJ.

When Keatley leaves Munster it wont be to Connacht anyway. Not the signing Connacht need for a few reasons. money/player needed..

I think Keatley would be a back up somewhere. Maybe he'll go to London Irish?
He's got a lot of miles on him and his age would be a concern.
He's good enough for depth imo.

Keatley won't feature again for Ireland so if he wants to cash out there is nothing stopping him unless he doesn't want to move.

I'm not sure there is a place for him at the provinces truth be told so he may not have options there. I'm also not sure he is good enough for the top14 - albeit Perpingnan might be on the look out for an outhalf back in the D2 next season.

I could see him getting a back up spot in a premiership club to bridge the gap between first choice and developmental second choice.

The alternative is the States where there is a growing demand for experienced professionals.

Whatever he does I would only wish the best for him. He's been a good servant to Irish rugby and has delivered when selected for the national team. He has had a mixed ride with Munster and it's not been easy for him at times with losing Axel and being the target of some 'supporters' ire. He's had some very good days in red also.

If he was to go to another province I'd hope for Ulster so he can have the rare honour of playing for all 4 provinces and the awecopocalypse would be absolutely amazing.

Good bit of business done here:

Munster Rugby and the IRFU are pleased to confirm 12 player contract extensions for the province.
Nine of the 12 players are products of the province’s underage or Academy pathway.

John Ryan, Niall Scannell, Rory Scannell, Darren Sweetnam, Jack O’Donoghue, JJ Hanrahan, Alex Wootton, Rhys Marshall, Fineen Wycherley, Calvin Nash, Arno Botha and Jeremy Loughman have all signed contract extensions.

John Ryan has signed a three-year deal that will see him remain with Munster Rugby until at least June 2022.

Tighthead prop Ryan has made 130 appearances in red since his debut in 2011 and has 16 Ireland caps. The 30-year-old most recently scored his first international try in Ireland’s win against the USA in November.

Brothers Niall and Rory Scannell, Darren Sweetnam, Jack O’Donoghue, JJ Hanrahan, Alex Wootton, Rhys Marshall and young guns Fineen Wycherley and Calvin Nash have all signed on for a further two years, committing to the province until at least June 2021.

Hooker Niall Scannell made his Munster debut in December 2013 and has made 79 appearances to date. On the international front the 26-year-old has earned 11 Ireland caps and like Ryan recently featured in the November Guinness Series.

Centre Rory Scannell has played for Munster on 92 occasions and has three Ireland caps. The 24-year-old became the first player to win both Munster Academy and Young Player of the Year in the 2015/16 season.

25-year-old Sweetnam has represented the province on 66 occasions and was named Young Player of the Year at the 2016/17 Munster Rugby Awards. The winger made his third appearance for Ireland when starting against the USA in November.

Back-row forward O’Donoghue has made 93 appearances in red and won the Academy Player of the Year in 2015. The 24-year-old became the first Waterford player to captain Munster in the professional era in February 2018. He has represented Ireland on two occasions.

26-year-old Hanrahan, who returned to the province in 2017, made his Munster debut in September 2012 and has 92 Munster caps. Featuring across the backline, the 26-year-old won the province’s Young Player of the Year and the League’s Golden Boot Award in 2014.

Taking the exiles route, 24-year-old Wootton joined the Munster Academy in 2013 making the step up to the senior ranks in 2016. The winger has scored 13 tries in 34 appearances and was the province’s top try-scorer last season.

Kiwi hooker Marshall joined the province on a three-year contract in 2016, making his Munster debut that November. The 26-year-old has featured for the province on 55 occasions, scoring ten tries.

Promoted to the senior ranks on a development contract at the start of this season, 20-year-old lock/back-row forward Wycherley was awarded Academy Player of the Year in 2018 and has scored one try in 11 games for Munster.

Fellow development player Nash also made the step up from the Academy at the beginning of the season with the 21-year-old winger scoring two tries in eight Munster appearances.

Arno Botha and Jeremy Loughman have signed one-year extensions and will remain with the province until June 2020.

Back-row forward Botha joined Munster in the summer and has made an immediate impact with two tries in nine appearances.

Prop Loughman joined the province midway through last season and has made five PRO14 appearances to date including his first start against Zebre last month.

Bar place kicking JJ had a very good game on Friday evening. Tyler didn't cover himself in glory when he took over the reins at outhalf/kicker.

Aside from Conway getting injured the place kicking was the only negative from the game.
