Skyla-Rae ... what I find amusing is that Skyla is a brand of IUD contraception (which clearly the mother wasn't using!)

Not the worst name ever, but the spelling  absolutely unnecessary

I know a girl who’s got a baby called Chanel Nellie

    Kaedyn

    For a girl

Just sounds like an American 'uniquely' spelled headache.

Pornstar name. Daddy picked that one.

Which is worse on an Irish girl:

    Mercedes or Porsche?

Porsche, lot lower to the ground so alot harder to drive it over her

Member of a certain ethnic minority? Possibly one associated with horses, Ford Transits, and slash hooks?

Mercedes is bad as a name, but Porsche as a name just sounds hooker-ish.

Imagine both being shouted in a strong northside accent.

*cough* *cough* William Shakespeare says hello.

    Wouldn't pick it myself, mind.

Fingal County Council are certainly not competent to be making decisions about the most important piece of infrastructure on the island. They need to stick to badly designed cycle lanes and deciding on whether Mrs Murphy can have her kitchen extension.

No actually, Irish, but the “will never work a day in their life” kind

From my very vague recollection of The Merchant of Venice, was she not Portia?

Yes, it was Portia, and I think it’s a beautiful name!

So a different name to the hookerish Porsche.....

Personally I’ve never met anyone named Porsche, but I have known a couple of Portia’s and they weren’t ‘hookerish’ in any way. Quite the opposite in fact, both being from very well off, educated families in the UK. 🀷*♀️So I do think it’s a name used by the educated, monied class. Porsche however, maybe not?

I can only surmise that some skanger heard Portia and thought it was Porsche.

Southwest Airlines Has Apologized After A 5-Year-Old Girl Named Abcde Was Mocked By An Employee

It's pronounced "AB-city" apparently. The only person to blame in this is the mother for picking such a ridiculous name. The poor child.

There Are 328 Human People Named “Abcde” in the United States
