The first thing that sprang to mind was beer, so a master brewer, perhaps? Shot in the dark as usual, in case you were wondering. :o

The first thing that sprang to my mind on reading "Hans Tallhoffer" was "hasenpfeffer" and that put me in mind of Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam cartoons so now I'm re-watching everything ever created by Tex Avery. :)

As for the answer, not a feckin' clue. :(

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I looked it up and unless you happen to have a very specific involvement there ain't a hope you are going to guess!

Maybe an infinite number of monkeys with typewriters might accidentally come across the answer... no wait, that was Shakespeare. :D

    Anyone remember latin?

    What does this this mean?

    TOTI
    EMEUL
    ESTO

Inscription on a post found in ancient Rome.

Emeul throws me, but assuming it's a name it would translate literally as Be all Emeul or let's support Emeul.

my latin is not so good but that doesn't look right to me.

    TOTI
    EMUL
    ESTO

Rube was right. I spelled it wrong. Sorry.

    ESTO

    TOTIEMULESTO

    TO-TIE-MULES-TO

No, nothing like that. Although Armstrong did team up at one time with Ben Miller.

The connection is unique to these guys.

While you are thinking about that here is the question I owe from a couple of pages back...

In a village in Somerset is a collection of decorated eggs, what is special about this collection?

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 78,179 Mod ✭✭✭✭New Home

    Fabergé?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 71,802 ✭✭✭✭Ted_YNWA

There's some mad random egg rolling competition down a hill somewhere in England. Something to do with this?

    Previous winners.

Are they the eggs used to record all the unique clown faces?

    🤡
