I finished Fallout 4's main campaign this year, two 0revious times i tried to get into the game i couldnt but after persevering with the 3rd time i enjoyed it. Its no master piece but i thought it was decent in the end.

Didnt manage to do any of the DLC,ill 0op back to that some day.

All Bethesda fallouts have awful end games, Vegas is the only interesting one. F4 is a good game stuck a **** storyline with stupid NPC missions that annoy you. Just let Obsidian do F5 with Skyrim overtones......you dont have to actually do anything but just walk about.

Eoinhef you might have keyboard issues.

Just installed Mass Effect again, and stuck some graphics mods in there as well, so going to get stuck into that over the next few days. Been a while since my last playthrough.

That reminds me I have to properly finish ME3.
Got to the end then thought it would be hilarious to shoot the hologram kid...

    How does ME1 hold up?

It's pretty rough, especially early on.

It's decent just to breeze through for the story and to have a save to carry into ME2. I wouldn't turn the difficulty up too high though, because the combat is mostly frustrating where it's not boring.

Save up for the Spectre Weapons. You can get them off a guy on the Citadel in C-Sec. You'll be motoring once you get those. They mostly chew through everything.

Yeah, i'll probably use an old save to start at a high level and with a bunch of cash. Mostly just play it for the story anyway, so not that worried about the at times frustrating gameplay.

Could never get into Mass Effect games. I own all of them but only played each of them for a few hours. I should love it considering what it is. Combat was awfully boring. Enter an area with waist high walls. I wonder what is going to happen here. Play whack-a-mole for the next few mins and move on. Couldn't tell you anything about the plot right now. Shepard was thoroughly unlikeable. It felt like a second rate KOTOR.

It definitely gets better after the first game. I always play as a Vanguard, and you just fly around shotgunning people in the face and smashing the group with super powers. Great fun :)

I'd agree, I'd recommend play ME1 on easy, play for the story and enjoy the atmosphere.
ME2 & ME3 are great though, well worth playing. Combat feels tighter and more enjoyable.

To mix things up you could always play as female Sheppard, that voice actress does a good job.

BTW, the ALOT texture mods just got updated for N7 day, and they are excellent.

Picked up Ruiner on Steam the other day on the cheap. Fairly cool twin stick shooter with a Cyberpunk vibe.

For the last two days i've gotten back into Ark Survival Evolved. I am playing single player. I have 264 hours in it so far and haven't even got the end stuff as i go away for a while then come back and start again. It is a good game and i come back to it now and again.

I have both of those but i played about 30 minutes of the first one and couldn't get into it. I played part two years ago for a bit on the PS3 and enjoyed it but never finished it or got far. I have it on PC but haven't played it on there yet.

Assassins Creed:Syndicate - Liked Unity but played it a good while ago. Like to leave a good space between playing AC games as they get very repetitive.
Really like the Victorian game world of Syndicate though. Game runs great but one problem I have is that when I go to start the game it takes at about 10 minutes to start up every time....

Diablo 3 on the Switch. I'm sure it's been discussed to death, but the easy difficulty even on Expert completely ruins the game. I know the consensus seems to be 'wait til lvl70 - that's when it starts' but that entire concept seems retarded to me when the story is all but finished before you begin to feel anything other than bored to tears pressing the same button over and over for hours on end.

The loot is a little bit addicting alright but the gameplay is shocking due to its ease and repetitiveness. Can't understand how it was ever rated so highly. I regret not buying a physical copy that I could trade in.

I believe it was widely condemned.

    I preordered the collectors edition.

Still play Diablo 2 over it.....

So I took a look at Destiny 2 over the weekend since it's now free and frak me what a game! I gather the experience I have now, a year or so into the game's life is quite different to that at launch, but I'm very glad for it. My friends and I have been stuck into it more or less non-stop since Saturday evening, only pausing for dumb things like work and sleep :D

Its a looter arpg , story doesnt matter, its just there to get you to max lvl, that part of the game is about 0.1% of what the game is about.
Repetitive by nature, its all about running rifts, greater rifts solo or in a party for loot, gear set items , making builds for said items etc it has practically infinite replayability.

Even getting certain complete sets for a certain build or builds is only the beginning as you then embark on seeking ancient versions of these items and then onto primevil versions, not to mention the legendary gems or the Cube elements of the game.
Its a vast game , you really havent even got close to scratching the surface yet.

I cant comment on the console versions but id expect they are essentially the same apart from visuals and controls.

Checkout diablo fans site for builds or better still try icey veins for various classes to get an idea of the depth involved.

I hate seeing people make a judgement on diablo3 solely from their little trip to max level hence why i bothered to reply :P

ARPG looters are either for you or they are not,, but wait until you experience some form of endgame before writing it off :)

    Does anybody else play CS:GO?

Literally, all I play nowadays. Aside from the Toxic community, it's really good once with a good group of 4 others.

I still play it the odd time. Have a group who play and a few are complete noobs so breathes new life into the game.

    I'm stuck into Stellaris again.

    Mass Effect Andromeda

Bought it at launch, found it a bit bland and stopped after about 5 hrs.

Went back two days ago and ive more than doubled that time since. Finding it more enjoyable now for some reason.

Also supports HDR on PC so might hook it up to TV to try it out. HDR can look great on a PS4 pro so interested to see how it looks on PC with the extra horse power.

Mostly Assassins Creed Odyssey, which is brilliant, and some Mass Effect 1 on the side.

    Hotline Miami and Hidden Folks.

I never finished Hotline Miami. There's a boss level early on I couldn't get past so I eventually dropped it.

I still throw on the soundtrack every now and again though. It's a good workout tempo-setter.

I'm itching for something new. Perhaps Cuphead....

Odd bit of PUBG, Insurgency sandstorm and some world of tanks. All quite meh. Either I am getting old or games are not quite so entertaining.

Replaying Mass Effect 1. Bought Rainbow Six: Siege on a friend's recommendation and so far am having a blast - it's a surprisingly tense shooter.

Bought Far Cry 4 and will play that soon (TM).
