Does anyone know does this take 2hours to install once you start the app on ps4 ? I think I might wake up around 12 start the game and go back to bed that way when I get home from work on Friday I don’t have to look at all that crap like gtav because that was so annoying back then lol

What do you mean two hours to install? Are you buying on disk? If so it could be done much quicker unless there is a problem with the servers pulling down the patches.

Great news about super valu having it for €50, stocks will be quite limited I suppose? Either way I plan on being there at 7.30 when they open before work.

From experience, staff sometimes don't have a scooby about games or stock so if you get someone who says they don't sell it when it's listed, ask someone else or a manager.

Happened when I bought COD last year on the Quays that the first girl said they weren't selling it. Asked the other girl on the till and she pulled a copy from behind the desk.

Good stuff. Hopefully they'll be fairly clued in but the shop I plan on going to mostly has older staff members, they did stock fifa and COD so hopefully there won't be much hassle.

Shame that by the time home that evening I'll have another extremely long wait while it installs but I've waited 8 years I'm sure another few hours won't kill me!

Interesting that the pre-order bonus includes money for GTA online but none for RDR online when released.

I hope it gets critiqued accurately. There are some issues I have with the first RDR that were not really called out at the time.

We have seen plenty of times before where hype has outweighed the actual experience (Bioshock Infinite as an example)

When you start up gtav for the very first time it brings you into the menu with lots of pictures when the game installs in the background
I bought digital so am wondering does RDR2 do this aswell I’d imagine it does

I presume everyone is buying a selection of whiskeys to enhance the immersion?

Anyone having some on the rocks can go straight to hell. Any coffee consumed from the 26th onwards has to stay black too. Only real men should get to experience this.

I've almost finished knitting my poncho.

No need for the toxic cowboyology in this day and age.

Just pre-ordered for Jervis Street!!! Happy Days :)

I'll collect on Friday morning, go to work for 3.5 hours spending the whole time continuously looking at the box, collect my marathon number and then count down the minutes to 5pm.

What is everyone's plans for this game once the loading\intros are done and you have control over Arthur?

    Exploring
    Jump right into the Story
    Hunting
Just start shooting, and asking questions later

Starting it at midnight so will do 2 hours of the story, then to bed*, then up 4 hours later for work. Half day Friday so back in the saddle by lunchtime :D

    *May be wishful thinking

Anybody have any experience pre-ordering with Amazon. I've mine pre-ordered for over a year. What's my chances of getting it on Friday?

Do you have Prime? I'd say your talking Monday or Tuesday at the earliest. Monday if shipped on Thursday and Tuesday if it ships Friday.
