What happens if you do not collect your Smyths pre-order?

Like do they just leave it or do you still get charged if you do not pick it up?

from their website re 'pre-orders' :

2.No payment will be taken from you for your order until it is dispatched (home delivery orders) or collected (click & collect orders).

Two days and then it's cancelled. You're charged the day before you're due to pick it up.

Use our pre-order service to order your item now and receive it when it comes into stock.

No payment upfront or deposit online
Chosen payment method will be charged 2 - 7 days before item becomes available
You will receive your item on the Release Date or within the 'back in stock' date as displayed on our website.

Oh right. Do they refund you then when you never show up?

Not a real spoiler but some want to be fresh and this is just from the video above.
The fact that it wasn't just "wanted" and you get shot but they started by interrogating is just insane, really wish I could see how else that would play out.

Yeah they do. But it can take upto five working days I believe so it could spill into the week of the 5th of November.

There was a list around the time that the latest FIFA and / or CoD was out, and it was a substantial number of stores so I'd say some small ones will (certainly local ones in Sligo like Grange and Ballisodare had it).

Aha, here's store list for FIFA: https://supervalu.ie/offers/fifa-2019

    here's the RDR list

If you go digital "day one" patches tend to be pre-loaded most of the time.

You install from the discs (2). Will likely take over an hour on PS4 (using Spiderman for comparison), no idea about xbox.

There will be a small day 1 patch available for download. You can skip it if you want, it's just bug fixes. Unless you're in a mad rush I would download it, it's just a few gigs.

I believe once you put the disc in and the game is installing, the day one patch will start downloading as well so it might be done by the time the game is actually installed.

    Hey all,

I got excited when i heard this was coming out, but I'm not a young guy with a lot of free time anymore (kids, work and mortgages getting in the way) so I'm wondering now if its worth me getting this? Probably looking at 4-8hrs game play a week.

I read/hear things about it taking a life time to complete and having to feed/shave yourself, and groom/bond with your horse etc... all sounds very tamagotchi like.

I just want a cool cowboy game to pick up and play! So, I've renewed my xbox live, now I'm wondering, should I actually get this game?

    Absolutely :)

Even if you get 5 hours a week, it'll last you 10+ weeks. Great value!

A lot of stores in the US are selling it from 9pm on Thursday. I wish they’d do that here. Given that will take 1-2 hours to install the bloody thing it, it’s not like anyone would be playing before midnight anyway.

I presume everyone is buying a selection of whiskeys to enhance the immersion?

Anyone having some on the rocks can go straight to hell. Any coffee consumed from the 26th onwards has to stay black too. Only real men should get to experience this.

I've almost finished knitting my poncho.

Jebus, a real cowboy wouldn't be knitting his own poncho. He'd just ride into town and take the one he likes the best.

I don't think you are ready for the game

Does anyone know does this take 2hours to install once you start the app on ps4 ? I think I might wake up around 12 start the game and go back to bed that way when I get home from work on Friday I don’t have to look at all that crap like gtav because that was so annoying back then lol
