Despite Wasps missing key players and Leinster being pretty damn good I'm still a bit nervous. There are very few poor sides in this competition. Things go well for Wasps on the day and they come out with a win.

Leavy out and Ruddock in according to BT.

Conditions very calm as well. No wind and no rain means good things for the Wasps backs. Up to Leinster's pack to put it up to theirs.

Robbed once again of seeing a backrow comprised entirely of opensides.

Odd that Ruddock comes straight into the starting XV instead of O'Brien moving from the bench to starting.

Because Ruddock is our best 6.

    *hides*

In all seriousness. I hope it's nothing major with Leavy and he just got a stinger. He's had an awful start to the season injury-wise.

Actually really liking that new European kit, now that I'm seeing it live, so to speak.

Cynic in me thinks this was planned?

Is BOD actually watching the match? Hadn't a clue what led to that scrum.

    Great spot from Cronin.

Wasps aren't throwing many into the breakdown. Fanning out in a line but that left gaps for Cronin to go through the middle.

That's a terrific individual effort. Very aware and will really disrupt wasps early on.

McGrath... Poite was very clear about it being brought back in

    Some engine on Cronin.

    fair play to poite

The bt commentator said the try was against the run of play. Wasps had done nothing to indicate it was against the run of play, Leinster had all the ball.

    Great play though

Sean O’Brien is warming up in front of me here at the north stand and I’d swear that he has lost weight

I'm not a religious man but I think we should take a moment to pray for the wasps pack and halfbacks when Leinster unload that bench

Great commentary by Dallaglio, Elliot Daly trying to put the kick in for Elliot Daly......

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,167 ✭✭✭✭Hurrache

Wasp's plan is obviously to try hold everyone up in the tackle.
