As a neutral, I do enjoy the build up to the interpros. Very entertaining.

I don't understand Healy's or Fitzgerald's comments about Muldoon's conversion being disrespectful. I thought it was a tradition in rugby world wide to give a retiring player a conversion kick when the result wasn't in doubt. Must have seen it dozens of times and never heard anyone complain before.

I dont read anything into Healy's comments. I think a mountain is being made out of nothing. He didnt like it happening, mainly because his team got a hiding.
The conversion had nothing to do with "stickying" it to Leinster. It was just because the result was not in doubt, and John Muldoon was retiring. Any other former Connacht player wouldn't have been invited to do it.

    Leinster suck

No one cares about the kick, it was the fact that Muldoon was the one taking the kick so soon after he was identified as the third Novichok suspect.

We got it years ago we're just waiting for Leinster to take it and break it like most other things from the west

It has to happen. It's too good not to.

Scoring a drop goal would be the cherry on top.
    Matt Dunning style please.

It will never cease to amaze how utterly archaic the legal profession can be. Currently closing on apartment sale/purchase of house and drowningin a slew of mails with PDFs attached whose sole content is an embedded scan of a typed letter. Absolute ****ing pain.

Hah, sorry. The stress of the whole PDF opening debacle had me up half the night. That was supposed to go into OT. Ah well.

Anyone who been to or seen a Ireland/Leinster match in person knows that Healy spends around half his time pre match taking drop goals.

Does everyone remember that Leo Cullen made an official complaint after the Pro 12 Final, because the Connacht fans sang songs when the buses arrived, and his poor team of snowflakes were intimidated

He also didn't like the singing with 5 minutes left

    What's this now?

Maybe I've suppressed a load of memories from that whole weekend, but I'm pretty sure this is the first I've heard of this.

Which Pro12 final was this? Some teams have been in more than one final, you know.

Hugo Keenan and Ronan Kelleher not in the 'A' 23. Hopefully they have a part to play in the senior squad.

Ah ha! He didn't really think Muldoon was being disrespectful. He's just jealous cos Johnny won't let him take a kick!

Yes, the two largest families in Connemara alone would make up the almost 10,000 fans. They just never make it to the Sportsgrounds because it's a two-day horseride each way.

There was rumour that Leo Cullen complained to pro 14 officials about the fans that were located at where the busses pulled in.

I think the complaint was that Connacht organised it or told fans to be there. Which is mad considering they have to get out of the busses outside the stadium

I heard it from people that were in the Connacht set-up that day
