Will it be a full strength Leinster side?

Let's examine that claim, considering the game is in Galway.

    2017-18 Connacht 47-10 Leinster
    2016-17 Connacht 24 - 37 Leinster
    2015-16 Connacht 7 - 6 Leinster
    2014-15 Connacht 10 - 9 Leinster
    2013-14 Connacht 8 - 16 Leinster
    2012-13 Connacht 34 - 6 Leinster
    2011-12 Connacht 13 - 15 Leinster
    2010-11 Connacht 6 - 18 Leinster
    2009-10 Connacht 27 - 13 Leinster
    2008-9 Connacht 19 - 18 Leinster

Such a shame the weather closed in and forced these games to be abandoned

    No.

Very unlikely that Ryan, Van der Flier, Sexton, Henshaw, Ringrose or Larmour will start. Probably a few more to miss out too.

If you look over to the right you can see a sink hole beginning to appear where the sports values of respect used to be!

    Franno is skinnier.

    23 I'd pick:
    Buckley
    McCartney (c)
    Bealham
    Dillane
    Roux
    SOB
    Fainga'a
    Copeland
    Marmion
    Carty
    Healy
    Bundee
    Farrell
    Niyi
    TOH

Heffernan, McCabe, McCoy/Carey, Cannon, Boyle, Blade, Ronaldson/Godwin, Kelleher

Boyle and kelleher on the bench? They’d be two of the first names I’d have in

Kelleher was badly caught for the first Scarlets try on Saturday, showed far too much of the inside to McNicholl to gallop through. Could be benched for that. Niyi and himself both playing pretty well at the moment so not a lot to choose from between them...

    Nearly as bad as Munster.

I’d have ringrose on the bench in joined Connacht Leinster team. I rate Aki much higher than him. Oh and I’m glad Jodi went north he wasn’t cutting the mustard in the Leinster back row and was about 13th choice. Don’t get me started on the carberry Ross byrne thing. Are you seeing a pattern here because I am seeing one in your posts.

Considering we've had little or no glory in our entire history and not expecting a huge amount of silverware in the future, yes supporters will be living on past glory because they are rare and much more appreciated out west than anywhere else. Connacht is a small club that achieved success way and beyond in 2016.

Also worth noting that before Bilbao, Leinster hadn't won a trophy since 2014. It was great to see them win and I think after a drought like that for a great club like Leinster, it was even more appreciated than the back to back Heineken Cup wins.

You mean tight and competitive! ;)

Although, to be fair, a lot of those games have been played in atrocious conditions around Christmas time. I thought the Sportsground was bad, but I have never been as wet and cold after a game as the RDS a couple of years ago...

Was that the one where VDF scored and all the Connacht fans lost their s**t? That was one miserable night alright.

It was less about beating Leinster and much more about sending off a Connacht legend in style, and having one decent day in a miserable season. At least it was for me anyway.

and for leinster it was a nothing game that had to be played before the biggest game of the season.

Make Leinster Great Again. And boy did it work. God Bless you Putin and Trump.

I’ll never understand why Connacht aren’t eternally grateful for the fact that we qualified them for the big boys club a few times. Sure isn’t that where a lot of their success was built from. Where would they really be without Leinster I ask. Where?

Forever grateful for Leinster being completely outclassed in Edinburgh

I may have been delirious with hypothermia or due to the recently-emptied hip flask in my pocket, but was that the one where Lacey was on his arse and gave a try that no one else in the ground could see?

Considering his record I'm not that surprised Fitzgerald has had his feelings injured.

Thats the one unless i was also in same condition. Ive stood in the college road end in the SG in downpours before and never been as cold as that night in the rds.
