I take to mean mycroft will be peeked as bad

I take to mean Irene will be peaked as good.

set me straight if im spouting nonsense

If you haven't spotted it, maybe the wolves haven't (douthful) I don't know if it is best to set you straight or not. Others will see were you are wrong too. If they are not setting you straight, maybe there is a reason they have not corrected you.

Its in the OP, in plain english, but some just read, and don't comprehend.

    Why would you ignore somebody?

Ignoring people means you are giving yourself an intentional blindspot.

Could this be you laying down the ground work for an almighty gaff in the future, and your excuse is, oh, i already said on tuesday morning, that i was going to ignore winifred?

So the alternative is, engage and derail the thread until everyone goes insane? I suppose ignore isn't the correct phrasing, more not respond.

I'm not getting involved in an argument I can't defend myself against (she's literally just calling me a wolf on no basis). If Winnie wants to think she's got this whole thing solved, let her. I'm just not entertaining or fueling her fantasies.

    5. Tegan / Clodagh - One seems like the type to poke people and try to get them to react and get the attention themselves while the other has actually posted a hell of a lot without me really having much of a read on them at all. Could be great Wolf play in both cases (clearly not from Tegan now)

So which category do I fall into? We aren't too far off each other in post count.
I've been prodding Riona and Desmond (and Wendy when she was still here) to explain themselves when I think they've been less than clear...

As nobody else has came forward to say they have been hospitalised then I reckon there is only two gone into the hospital. My reasoning for this is that Frank has been killed and I have been discharged. So it looks like there is always 4 people in the hospital at the same time and one of them is the next SK kill.

    Any one else been healed?

So..... how has she helped you?

Where do you place her on your reads list?

Has the way she acts, placed her in a certain section of your reads list?

Be happy with that, she has helped you sort the village, and let her be.

    Also Abigail,

is there a reason you've chosen a read list instead of sticking to three names for an FFA?

That's the worst part I have a town lean on her. She's battening down the hatches and doubling down on her theory, even though the Mary part was (obviously) wrong.

Is she helping me sort the list? Not really, as I have you and Gab as town too :(

How can you have gab and des on town? Like i could get that your on the fence but to say both are town... why?

Jumping in, but my view would be that Gabriel and Desmond, the former more than the latter, are both working (or appearing to work) for the benefit of the town.

While there's a good chance one (or both) could be wolves who are leading the town badly, I'd personally rather focus on the people hiding in the shadows than risk taking out someone actually partipating in discussions.

Des has a strange way of getting his point across but there's logic behind it.

Gabby is more belligerent, probably more...driven? But at present he seems to be actively trying to work towards wolf hunting, not getting caught up in semantics.

He did had two little gaffes that made him shift a little further down but overall it's been pretty solid.

(The getting caught up in answering the 'clue' in the note yesterday, but a lot were guilty of that.

Gaffe 2 was asking the vig to reveal before he fired, but I'll come back to it if I need to)

I don't have much of a read on you and although its not as much as some others youve posted a hell of a lot for someone I don't have much of a read on.

not too important but I wouldn't be sure anyone discharged from hospital has been "healed" but it is possible.

I will probably do another normal FFA later. I stuck up a lot of my thinking on people as I had not done one yesterday. I actually hope to be able to change the top names when I do as that means someone will have done something to make themselves stand out in a wolfy way. I'm thinking someone from the Eva, Liam, Gertie, Steve or Holly list but who knows I've been on this thread since really early today and think I probably need a break now

instead im just staring at the Mycroft & Irene Adler roles and failing to see what im missing :pac:

Im not saying they are wolves im asking why Orla has them as town. It seemed so definitive. Especially after the interaction between des and rhiona this morning which had me questioning des ro a degree, definitely enough to prevent having him on team town as such.

From her actions you get a town read, therefore, she HAS helped you sort the village.

Don't read who she says what about, read how she says it. I can't ever imagine a wolf or a serial killer acting like that.

If she is a wolf, she deserves to win the game.

I've been prodding Riona and Desmond (and Wendy when she was still here) to explain themselves when I think they've been less than clear...

Less then clear about what exactly ? I'm an open Book Clodagh . .

You see ambiguous posts like your can sow seeds of doubt in peoples heads. "oh didn't Clodagh say she thought Riona wasn't clear about something sometime " . "And Riona didn't answer, ooh that's dodgy". .

Well sorry Gabriel but as long as Clodagh is spouting inaccuracy's on me I will correct her.

This is a tactic Trump uses extremely effectively. In essence spew lies and half truths and people don't actually know what lie to focus on . .If people react to these accusations try and make out that they look suspicious because they are trying to clarify things or highlight how ridiculous your comments are.

As far as I can tell the two things people don't like about me where my statement that "Jeff was a wolf" and you making me look like I was suggesting Watson comes out. .

I explained why I said "Jeff was a wolf". I was asked about wendys "mistake". Wendy posted 2 things about her pills. One had jeff as a wolf and the other mentioned the SK. I shorthanded responses with these quotes and only on reflection did my response look like what Desmond said. It actually took me a few mins to get what he was saying . . Take what I said as fact or put it in my dodgy column , theres not much else to debate. Build up other evidence to further show my wolfiness, that's my suggestion because there are plenty of other people who have made mistakes and had dodgy behaviour that also warrants attention. .

So then we have your insistence that I have been pushing for the Vig to come out . . You are insisting I said it . . You quote my posts and respond completely out of context .

You ignore my response like my quoted post :
    Riona WW wrote: »
But doesnt the reveal still apply so ?

Whether its somebody in hospital or a person killed surely he should reveal himself directly after he has used his last power ? He is an NRV once hes used 2 bullets and a heal . . It means he has also cleared one village . .

And then you ignore me showing you my above post .

    Clodagh WW wrote: »

Yeh, look at me clearly indicating that the Vig should come out...

Gabby, care to tell me to let it go again... I’d swear you guys were looking to take the focus off Dessie ....

Like I said Clodagh you are either Tunnelling badly or a wolf trying to falsly create an inaccurate narrative of me. This post I am making is for fidelity purposes . .

I just don't get why you can't see a wolf acting that way, then on the other hand ask for them to be shot. Maybe just explain it after the game cos it kinda threw me you said that after the past two nights of calling for a shot.

Hey holly, did you ever explain why you were going to vote for Wendy?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,830 ✭✭✭Derry WW

Thoughts currently, focusing on low level posters.

I'm super worried about Babs currently. Posted a few times on Day One recapping stuff that had been dealt with already, then fluffs her post count really unsubtly last night. Interacted a bit with Abi in the morning but the fluffing of the post count really stood out this morning.

Speaking of fluffing post counts, Doris and Katie stand out a bit as two low posters who took the chance to use the SK Note as a way to boost their post counts. Doris is just loads of super short posts with very little substance, I feel.

Eva has 10 posts, the bare minimum in terms of a contribution. In one post, she says she won't do an FFA and will just pick her vote based on FFAs, and then went with Wendy. That strategy gives her a perfect out for not having to justify anything down the road.

Steve hasn't registered on my radar AT ALL. Nigel did in day one as super fluffy, and seems to have vanished from it on Day 2.

    Other thoughts...

People who did FFAs - Wini, Gabriel, Babs, Tegan, Desmond, Conor, Clodagh, Derry, Gert.

People who voted in the top two last night - Wendy, Gert, Brendan, Derry, Clodagh, Abi, Eva

There seemed to be some discussion last night/this morning that chances are wolves would have hidden inside the group who did FFAs and in the group who voted in the top two.

Gertrude, Clodagh, myself - Three people who did FFAs and voted inside the top 2.

Would a wolf have made sure to do both? Is there a wolf in that three (even if I'm one, which obvs I'm not)?

I didn't ask for them to be shot!

I said, if i was the ??, i'd do this.

Now, advance that to the next step, if something on the list actually happened.
    What happens me?

I know the wolves wont get the peek evidence, but where i read it , it was shoot/protect/peek, so who am i to change it.

The SK "boasts" about his kills.

So the theory is his boasts are in the form of notes he leaves on his victims. Even ignoring the riddle, look at the first part of the post when Frank died.

So the first part is in flavour, stays in character to the game.

And then the note talks about "the seer". Why would a note "from the mods" be so blunt as to say "The Seer", not even Sherlock but the seer. No flowery language to it.
    Derry WW wrote: »
1 of the four hospitalized payers was killed. We know from the OP that the hospital is the SK's playground. While we don't know HOW we got infected, we can reasonable assume the SK offed us.

The "bragging" is leaving a note on the body. In this case, the note was...

""Frank had a close bond to the Seer. As a result of Franks death, The Seer now has 12 hours to live. You must crack the clue to save his life or they will perish : I am Big, but so small. Tall, but rather short. I go away when you run to me and I come back as you give up. What am I? Time is not on your side.""

My guess is Frank wasn't actually tied to the seer; its just the SK trying to trick the seer into revealing.

Derry, another thing that had bugged me was that you didn't even try to solve the riddle that some people thought might kill our seer . . Neither did Conor as far as I can see . . Both of you were very active in the riddles on day 0 . . For fairness I didn't try either because I couldn't figure out a better answer put down by people and like you I didn't believe our seer was in trouble so I am not throwing stones in a glasshouse . .

But its just odd that you didn't even make a go of it . . I suppose my excuse is that I am not good at riddles but you clearly are and yet you didn't even give a couple of token answers . .

On its own it might not look like much but our seer was potentially on the line (how bad would it of been if the seer did die) and the person who aced 2/3 puzzles didn't even bother putting any answers forward . . I mean even the fun of finishing the riddle ? Clodagh, Gabriel and Isla agreed with you, im not sure how active they were trying to "save" our seer . . In many regards I would of thought those who made a decent effort of trying to solve the riddle are deserving of some village points . . Yes, they might be wolves trying to blend in, but they wouldn't of known if the SK message was right or wrong so surely wolves would of been loving the thought of the seer getting killed . .

Again Derry, I have to be careful cause I got burned last village but you can see how this doesn't look great right ?

On the FFA thing - I didn't do one yesterday as I just didn't have the time. Will get one in today.

I voted for Katie mainly due to her reaction when Derry was congratulated for solving the clues and she was looking for her congratulations. After that night she then disappeared for most of the next day - struck me as someone building their post count on D0 and then trying to lie low.

I've already explained why I voted for Katie.
