((HUGS))) The cook deserves more than coffee and I hope your guests appreciated and enjoyed a fine meal.

When you get clean plates back you know they enjoyed it. :D

I'm a very plain and simple cook, Mr Who is actually a very good cook, and likes to try out new things in the kitchen, problem is, I'm a very fussy eater, so it's lost on me. :pac:

But they always come back for the mammy's roasts. :D

Chicken curry and fried rice and chips. The ham is crumbed ham from a packet. It's nice enough and not the cheapy stuff.
I'm sorry now I didn't get the Chinese.

Some of that left over Sirloin of beef warmed up in hot water. Keeps it moist and juices in. Lots of butter on the bread. A big sandwich. Horseradish sauce layered over it. Golden wonder Cheese and Onion on the side. Listening to the music of my youth.:D

I tried the one in Lidl that's thin and it's tasty out. The one from Tesco though is nice as well. I don't think anywhere near here sells ham freshly cut either unfortunately.

Sad isn't it? I often bake a small piece of ham for work sandwiches. Deadly stuff. Had some real ham sandwiches with decent cheese this week in the Wicklow mountains. On site catering paid for by the state.
