At least Rassie gets to keep his job :pac:

I wonder will Mo'unga now be brought in at 10 with Beauden Barrett pushed to full back. They don't have a huge amount of time to weld in the change but Crotty and Goodhue are his team mates at Crusaders. It may make the ABs stronger in the long run.

Do New Zealand not have a better goal kicker than Barrett, he's absolutely atrocious and cost them the game today and didn't he effectively cost them the series against the Lions last year because of his poor goal kicking.

Why didn't they go for the drop goal at the end , they were in perfect position to do it.

I doubt it. At the end of the day NZ gifted SA 2 tries, and i'd say the coaches could live with BB at 70%, which is his usual rate.

Goodhue has been an absolutely exceptional find, look really forward to him and Gazza going head to head at the Aviva.

Well done SA. Deserved that. Cracking test match. It's been a while since an ABs match has had me on the edge of my seat in the last 10 minutes. Looking forward to the return match in a few weeks.

There's that famous Kiwi sense of humour we all love. :D

Well if they stick with Beauden they are goosed. Opposition will know they can give away penalties and push the offside to the limit.

They guy who went to Wasps is a big loss too.

Depressingly low attendance at the Wallabies match.

    Love that Argentina jersey.

Why has DHP and Folou swapped positions? What is Beale doing with that mullet/goatie combo?

NZ were gaining metres in every phase and ended up right on the tryl line.

Then they went wide, and only for McKenzie dropping the ball they’d have been certain to score.

Not going for the drop was the right thing to do.

The less riskier play is still dropping into the pocket, setting up blockers and kicking the DG.

That's an incredible try from Folau.

I don't know what most players are like in 'real life', nor do I care. Why do you?
This is real life, it's not a film.

Why is he a prick ; because he has opinions and beliefs that differ to yours?

That was a fantastic try by Folau, a thing of beauty.

I’m not convinced that foot was in touch...

    Great rugby today.

Bigot - a person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions.

    :pac:

He believes homsexuality is a sin in accordance with his religious beliefs.
what's that got to do with his play or rugby?

    .

He's a homophobe. It's like saying there's nothing wrong with racists, they just have different beliefs and opinions.

He believes homsexuality is a sin in accordance with his religious beliefs.

And that they should burn in hell unless they repent for their sins.

    Which is homophobic.

    Which makes him a prick.

Which is what the poster said.

What is Beale doing with that mullet/goatie combo?

Maybe he's a big fan of Eastbound and Down.

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 26,403 Mod ✭✭✭✭Peregrine

    That would be class!

    Edit: Ah, crap.

Beale having a good ball to face day today.

Again, what has that go to do with rugby or the try he scored?

It is off topic and now I am.

Somewhat happy about that, strangely. SA defended well, and it would have been a crime to lose. BB's goalkicking is just abysmal.

So...which team would you rather face in 15 months lads? Barring a pool disaster it's NZ or SA not that far away...

Well done SA, keeps the RC interesting and NZ honest.

That was a gripping game, crowd got in behind NZ, and SA scored some nice tries.

Love the game of rugby, our great sport.

Based on the last 30 alone im sure as hell still taking SA.

I said it before the lions and ill say it again now. BB place kicking will get NZ dumped out of the WC. You cant miss the sitters he had today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,187 ✭✭✭troyzer

Him being a prick has nothing to do with his rugby. It's just unfortunate that such a potentially strong ambassador for the game is a prick.
