In the Monaghan v Galway match I had the second half to be the highest scoring half, both half’s had 12 points each. Does anyone know this bet is settled. It was part of an accumulator and was the only leg that didn’t win!

    That’s a loser.

That bet is voided as it doesn't give option of a draw so bet can't be a looser. Same principle as backing player in match bet to outscore an opponent. If finish level bet is voided or else they may apply dead heat rules. Definitely not a looser.

Any thoughts on the All Stars? Rory Beggan might just be a shoe in already. Eoin Murphy in the hurling? Daithi Burke and John Conlon? It will be interesting to see how the latter two get on in their duel on Saturday.

For a bit of value, I like Tom Flynn at 8/1. After Brian Fenton, midfield looks wide open.

Beggan was 4/7 at this time. Now 1/3, Cluxton 5/2.

A couple of days ago I noticed a big price difference between PP and Boylesports for Karl O'Connell getting an all-star. PP has him at 1/6 while Boyles had him at 11/10, which I think is a bit mad as I reckon he's a shoe in. Unfortunately they have cut that now to 4/7, though I still don't think that reflects his chances.

Boyle’s have all their Gaa odds skewed towards specific popular, mainly Dublin and other players have inflated odds.
They have Kilkenny @5/2 (as opposed to 4/1 general) and there is value with other players. For example O’Connell @ 100/1 POTY.
They also have certain Dublin players inflated, Rock @20/1 and I picked up McCarthy @25/1 last Friday when everyone else had 14/1.

I was looking at Brian Howard 12/1 myself would you give him a chance yourself ?

As good as he has been (and he's been very good), I find it hard to think they'd give it to a Rookie

Thanks , tho Im not sure being a Rookie is that big a hindrance if anything it's making him stand out more ,Im not sure on the stats tho .

I backed him today anyway ,good luck with your bets .

I'm thinking of an in play option for the hurling final.
Galway are starting games very strongly and are getting into 3-4 point leads very quickly. Against Clare, the handicap went to -6 after 10 minutes. I feel this will happen again in the final and I'll back Limerick at hopefully, +6 or 7.

Galway Over 7.5 total pts in each half 11/4 is a decent bet.

Also on Dubs to score a goal in both halves 9/4 pp
Dubs to win by 4 to 9 points inc on boyles 5/4 looks nice too.

Weather in Dublin was for rain for the Dublin match I'd be double checking that before backing any overs myself .

Dublin 4-9 at 5/4 looks good l will have a go at that myself .

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,059 ✭✭✭80s Child

The result in the League Final was 18 to 14. Dublin were down to 14 men for thr final 15 minutes, roughly.

Tomorrow is looking like rain in the capital. The total on PP is 35.5; I think under is a good bet, but I like to wait a minute or two to see how things set up.

Dublin are also under 21.5. Again, if the weather is poor, I think this will come in.

A red card in the match 6/4

    McMahon to be booked 2/1
    Kyne to be booked 15/8

Have you got his outright selections?
    Definitely worth a look now.

The Super 8 picks were very good, he's practically +40 on the Super 8's and even for the rest of the championship
