I haven't done that calculations but if she was working that would be over 80k salary gross. That would be a very good professional job.

    She's on serious money.

Does anyone know if the father is involved with the family or whether she has mentioned him in any interview?

Well considering her culture, there is a strong possibility he is currently a guest of the state.

On the Radio Nova Facebook page they tagged the story. Some young wan posted screen grabs from the complainants Facebook page, which has apparently now been deleted, of posts from a few days ago where she had posted picture of Crystal she had bought from "Andy's mam".

It's a joke of a country but we have made it so the leeches get the benefit for being leeches while the rest us schmucks work for a living and try to save for a mortgage.

There are far too many people on the planet. Only fools and those deluded by religeon think having large numbers of kids is a good idea. The world is suffering under our numbers with polution and climate change.
I was shocked all the papers portray this family's plight but NONE seem to question her disgraceful irresponsible behaviour or investigate the situation to any depth.
Why when you read boards do you get a spectrum of opinion mostly the opposite of what the media portrays? The media seem at odds with public opinion and seem to push a ridiculously one sided agenda.
I have been tired of the media disconnect and dishonesty in this country for a long time but this takes the biscuit.

My fellow working men on here saying you should pack in your job and go on the dole/get a council house. I’m afraid if your a single male and don’t have 10000000+ convictions it’s bottom of the list for ya.

Also if you have some form of disability you’re even further down 1000000000000000.

Single women have slightly better chances but you’re guaranteed a house if you drop out 5 children. You don’t even have to look after them. The HSE will. You’ve only to pretend you want them back. Source Thurles Municipal District housed a few woman in a 4 bed house for 5 children, 4 of whom are still in the care of the HSE 3 years later.

Yeah I’m of the same opinion. It’s like the general feeling from the people who pay for everything in this country is purposely being suppressed by the media. As I said yesterday all the radio chat shows were siding with the parasite except 4fm’s show. I’ll be listening to that from now on.

Why are journalists such eejits ? They go to college and then find a job , get up in the morning and get up and dressed and go to work . Pay tax , pay rent , feed kids , save and scrimp . Yet they cannot see the leeches sucking them dry and cannot see that they are paying to feed them their own blood

Ah now stop. I get a state pension at 68 after working 54 years. I'm 18 years away from being able to claim it. Our population is aging. We actually need young people to have MORE kids not less. I'm not holding out much hope that the seven kids in this story will be much help with paying my pension but in general we need more kids not less.

If we can't increase the amount of children in Ireland we will have to open the country & invite foreign national in as they did in Australia 20/30 years ago. This helped their pension time bomb

    odd that isn't it ?

    what could it be ?

Birds of a feather flock together etc

    eg :

    Butterssukis' excellent FEF :

TWODAY'S De Brand NEW & IMPROVED so to speak 2-18 Joe Duffy Wurkday Calculator and dat:

Wurkdays in 2-18 and dat: 154
    Joe Shows: 119
    No Show Joe Shows: 35
    Breakeens 4 Joe: 35

PBH (de full-time host of de show) Shows: 30
PBH guest appearances and dat: 1
    D'Omen Shows: 4
    AN Udder Shows: 0
Good Fryday No Show by nobody at all at all: 1

    NEW FEATURE SO TO SPEAK:
Fateen's Estimated Fees (De FEF Matrix so to speak) to date dis year:
    AT LEAST €297,500*

(not including de EXTRA FEES for 3 days of De Beast From De East TV + Radio Simulcast Xtravaganza + likely "Danger Money" for travelling to and from wurk in de snow and dat).
    King-World-News-WTF-Is-Going-On-Here-864x400_c.jpg
*de fees are calculated at €2,500 per show x days dat Fateen is in so to speak. Dose fees are likely conservative and outdated as day are 2 years old so to speak.
I'm including Good Fryday as a Wurkday as it is not an official Bank Holiday/Holiday Day. Even Pat Kenny is in Newstalk FFS, but no-one in RTE of course of course.

    DON'T FORGET -
"We're here all summer" sez he
    .

I think they are clueless to the feelings of the majority of the population. The populist parties, despite having **** all support in all opinion polls, shout the loudest, and some of these idiotic journalists fall for this noncense.

Yes we need more kids in this country but sadly an ordinary responsible working couple can barely afford mortgages not a mind kid s . Taxes In this country are crippling and they are going to stay that way as long as the ordinary taxpayers have to foot the bill for families like this . People have to take responsibility for their actions and the government needs to take some action to curtail this welfare state we ve become . Question s need to be asked of tje people who are living in council house s , driving new cars and able to holiday multiple times a year . If this is nt stopped soon its going to spiral out of control .

In all fairness i dont think any of this lot will contribute to our pensions..
I agree that the worlds population is now out off control and we are doing nothing to stop it..
Having such a large family with no means to support them is crazy ..its not like we have no contraception in the country ..Sometimes i think we are doomed on this planet as no one or government seems to be making the tough decisions .. Climate change ..water shortages..good shortages ..state sponsored terrorism and countless more..
Then we have someone who has never worked having 7 kids one after the other and its up the state to look after them ..we are the fools not her..Then we have parties coming out with all this populist crap ..

I support the welfare state but in circumstances like this, this woman , who has done nothing for society but pop out kids and claim welfare, is taking home more than most working families in the country.

That is wrong, her welfare should not be in excess of the take home of a working person.
And despite the largesse at the tax payers expense she is complaining she isn't getting enough.
At a time when the country is taxing it's citizens like fook and offering pretty poor services in return , her behaviour galls me .

Give her something , but fcuk me keep it reasonable and low enough that her husband / man feels the need to find a job.

Won't somebody think of her kids...? well fcuk me , her kids are living in a house with more net income that most working families in the state....if not more than the vast majority.

    This is wrong.

It's been estimated that it's the equivalent of 78kpa Gross....that's in the accountant / IT professional bracket....those people have worked/studied to achieve that salary...this woman lay on her back and thought of Ireland
sorry whatever ethnic homeland they have now (thanks Enda Kenny)
    .
She is also guilty of robbery and her husband (I understand) is currently inside. They have done nothing but take , take yet the state rewards them as if they were productive members of society at a professional level .

The fact some people actually defend this woman is mind boggling.

    I'm furious as I type.

The solution , no family should take in more than a certain amount - picking a figure out of my hole say 30k per annum ….which is still a 45k(guessing Gross salary)

Gas, not only has she a very nice apartment, but she dosen't want to spend a few euros on her mother, who she is SO concerned about.

Fcuk off to argos and get a handle and fit it yourself, you lazy scamp

The way the pension age is rising, in 18 years time, you'll still be 18 years away from claiming it. This woman and her extended family will never need to worry about a pension.

    No, not deluded at all!

How much does it cost to creche seven children?

We live in a society where folks pat themselves on the back for letting others mind their children ( for money) or use aged parents ( for free).

I don't blame anyone for venting. I don't even think it is fair.

But why do folks play that game and then look down , rather than up?

    What are you on about?

Yeah great if the parent gets to stay at home and raise the kids but only if one parent is working and contributing.

The father isn’t so the tax payer is paying for her kids.

Should we all give up our jobs and stay home and raise our kids?

Ah here I give up, no wonder she gets away with this carry on when people like you defend her.

Let's not forget that in the UK (and sadly I see us following suit) ALL preschool children get 30 hours taxpayer funded childcare

That's right- all. So wagons like these won't even have to waste their time looking after the littler ones!

More time for hangover recovery and shopping/lifting.

What is she doing with all the money she is getting? It doesn't take e1000 a week to feed and cloth seven kids.

Does she intend on having more kids I wonder?

Is she single, separated or divorced anyone know?

    What are her partner's circumstances?

I'll give you one guess- it rhymes with "gale".

And as far as the SW know - or have been told - she's single. They always claim to be - it's more lucrative.

And in all likelihood, the state pension will be gone by the time you're eligible to claim it. A growing elderly population means more demands on the taxpayers, and less tax being collected. Even right now, Ireland isn't managing it's tax burden very well, and there are ever increasing demands for better services across the board.

Having more kids is not the answer, in itself. We really need to be promoting a society of personal finance and personal responsibility, but the news stories of the last year alone, suggest the opposite. That we are encouraging a society of expecting handouts to magically appear and no appreciation for those handouts.

Do you really think that Ireland will be able to afford state pensions in 18 years time? I certainly don't.

Just using the two most recent stories - I'm due to collect the pension in 20 years. By the time that comes how many other kids will the 12-14 kids from the Tallaght Bonnie and the Cameroon whiner have ??

I'd stake my eye that we'll be approaching three figures, all being supported by taxes.

Yeah anyone my age or younger (I'm 48) forget about the pension, I don't see it happening.

Perhaps well get our contributions back ???

Always good to end on a joke eh ?

I'm helping support the wealthiest group of OAPs ever. I better get something back come retirement time. I'll also be paying taxes for roughly 10 more years then most before retirement. Personally I think 50 years paying tax should get you the pension.

Lol,arguing over creche fees for a woman who is using her kids as cash cows. Who minded the kids while she was partying every night?
No doubt she has a medical card, surely she could have gotten contraception on it but getting shiny new crystal was more important. Anyhow, where does a homeless person display said crystal???

Child benefit immediately needs to be capped at two children, and be given in the form of tax credits instead.

    Oh sweet Lord above.

Okay, we're making it all up and he's working on an oil rig off the coast of Nigeria and sending back every penny.

She should be able to sign off the Welfare any day now and live in a nice private 6 bed gaff.

Why? I don't. I think 50 years of paying taxes covers the cost of your participation in running the country for those 50 years, and that you're "enjoying" those benefits for those 50 years.

If you want a pension, pay into a private fund over time, and don't rely on the state.

    Why? What would that do?

Social welfare payments take into account the children's allowance. Withdraw the children's allowance& the welfare has to increase by the same amount. Net savings 0. Negative side effect = working couples with 3 or more kids suffer. Why would we want to penalize working taxpayers in such away?

Fine - but why pay TWICE??

Give me back the tens of thousands in PRSI and USC and I'll add a private pension to my VHI.

At the moment it's going to give scum a much much better standard of living than the one I get from working. Oh and obeying the law.

Not too long ago some of the crowd in Ballaghdreen were threatening to sue the gubbermint because their free house hadn't been allocated within the promised 3 month timeframe.

What is the story with granting asylum to people who claim that they are fleeing gang violence and family feuds as opposed to actual government oppression or war? Technically speaking most male members of the Hutch clan have a genuine reason to fear for their lives in this country, but if they flew to Australia or the US and lodged an asylum claim they'd be laughed out of the country.
