I wouldn't last a day possibly not even an hour caring for 7 children..
How is that poor woman coping!?.

    Were they all immaculate conceptions?

    Great input.

Id say with her it was more the quantity of input than the quality.

I caught the end of Heather Humphreys on the radio today from Cavan saying this.

Are there particular speciality skills needed or is it just a way for the factories to avoid raising wages?

Niall Boylan in fairness to him has copped of the money she's getting and is giving out about it on twitter.
I don't listen to radio anymore so no idea if he's any good or not.

Fair play to that man for sticking his head above the parapet....will be interesting to see if he gets any flak for it.

Fcuk working eh? Pump out 7 kids and get almost €1,000 per week tax free.

    Disgusting.

Action needed. That is a dreadful smack in the face to anyone working and contributing in this country.

Meanwhile Cameroonian welfare tourist complains her place is too small... At least she has a nice TV.

Well at least she has real problems now, like no handle beside the bath......if the country is so bad why not head back to Cameroon?

I suppose she is not having to pay creche fees for seven children!

Imagine looking after your own children, and the whole of society thinking that you are the problem.

Imagine a society that, rather than questioning why a family needs two jobs, and are willing to pay professional strangers in a creche to mind kids, and then use grandparents (free labour at the expense of the aged) to fill the gaps when the creche is closed or the week-end comes.

Those folks are the ones with the pitchforks and torches.

It must be all the fault of this one girl and her children.

    It helps us vent.

Hopefully ,when all have vented, they will look a little deeper into the question.

We can scorn this mother and her 7 children ( wait until those children grow up) or we can try and include them and figure out why we all have sold ourselves as a society into such a frustrating position.

Those kids look loved and clean to me. If the system is frustrating , well, lets all blame one woman and her children.

    It absolves us all!

On €1,000 a week tax free we'd all expect them to be reasonably clean I think.

    Anything to say about that?

I should just pack in my job, sign straight on and look for a 4 bedroom house for the family.
I'm work a 3 day week so it's nice having 4 days off but hell having 7 days off sounds even better.
Also I can start going to the pub again most nights for a few pints since i won't have to drive to work the morning after.

Or maybe start my own political party, get elected by working people who I promised to look after , crack down on scum like her, hire more cops to crack down on crime, eliminate free legal aid for drug dealing or thieving scum since they can pay for it of their proceeds from crime and start handing down proper jail sentences.

feck it..7 days off and a few nights on the tear sounds a lot less stressful.

The tax take from the creche employees will cover that! I'd rather trust a parent with their own kids.

We have created a creche industry and then blame mothers who look after their own children , for the problem?

We asked for this, but let's always look down at the easy targets, makes us feel good. Lock them up in the station- and watch how your wages increase and all your problems are solved!

    Are you deluded?

She is taking home €1,000 PER WEEK tax free.

Jesus fcuking christ I am not even going to bother. Someone else deal with this one.

Add in HAP and a worker would have to be earning 78k to get 50k after tax.

    No, not deluded at all!

How much does it cost to creche seven children?

We live in a society where folks pat themselves on the back for letting others mind their children ( for money) or use aged parents ( for free).

I don't blame anyone for venting. I don't even think it is fair.

But why do folks play that game and then look down , rather than up?

Does she come across as someone sending her kids to creche?

I don't give a fcuk about tax back from our own money from people working in a creche.

She is getting €1,000 per week in to her hand.

This country is ****ing stupid. You want to be stupid with them, go ahead. She, and people like her, prey on people like you.

    O.K.

It is kind of of irritating , to question the part we play in all of this. I think you are right, i'm talking bollocks , we have nailed the problem and who is to blame!

It will all be sunshine and roses come Monday!

I would like the credit to go to the inaugural After hours Day!

No, if you want to be stupid, and be preyed on, you keep telling yourself "she" is the problem.

She is part of the problem. A leech. Nothing more, nothing less.

The state is part of the problem for paying so much of course.

Do keep up, the HAP was included already.
What to do? Cut their money and let them starve on the streets?

They couldn't go to the temp accom offered in Co. Meath as it would only accomodate 5 children, according to the article interviewing the head of the DRHE.

Does anyone know if the father is involved with the family or whether she has mentioned him in any interview?

    Not involved, no maintenance paid.

No mention of the father of the children, she came to Ireland 10 years ago because her husband was killed. The kids in the video are under 10 years old.
At one point in the video I'm sure I saw a fella sitting in the background.
