That's fairly odd alright...! Looks like a dash compatible cable. I assume you went with priority shipping?

Yeah priority and standard shipping was the same price so i went with priority shipping. I am still looking for answers and even asked in OnePlus forum but no one replied as to what kind of type C cable does the bullets wireless comes with. It might be just a normal type C or i got a faulty one

Yeah, thinking the same. Someone recommended a case on Amazon in one if the earlier posts it looks decent

There are 2 cases the protective case and the bumper case. Always get the bumper case for maximum protection

The official Nylon case provides the most protection also recommend the Spigen Rugged Armor case on Amazon.

My last 3 phones have been Google Nexus phones so I'm used to stock Android and getting frequent and timely updates.

I like the concept of "Android One" but unfortunately the OnePlus 6 is not one of those phones.

How are they on bloatware and updates? Especially 2-3 years down the line when there's newer versions of Android?

They're famously as close to stock as you get outside a pixel?

Has anyone noticed that auto brightness is often 10% too dark? I find if I'm in a medium to low light situation it goes to the minimum brightness which is a little too dark, and even in the sun, I've been out over the last few weeks when the sun was shining intensely and my phone has been at about half to two thirds brightness if it's not directly facing the sun.

Considering upgrading my OnePlus3 to this. It works perfectly except the camera won't focus properly. Probably dropped too much :o

Any reason not to press the button on this one (and buy the otterbox case)?

Also - I don't need much storage (only use 25% on existing 64GB storage). Any reason to go from 6 to 8 RAM?

I went from the OP2 to this about three weeks ago. It is so much better. Everything is so fast, camera is fantastic. I went with the 128Gb model as I had been using about 50Gb of the 64Gb OP2 and didn't want to risk running out of space.

    Wow. That was some jump. I had a GS4 and the OP2 since I had a GS2.

I bought my OnePlus 3 when it came out in June 2016. It gets regular security updates. Looking at my phone today, it has the 1 July 2018 Security Patch Level. It came with Android 6, and it received Android 7 and then 8 in a reasonable time. We are hearing this week that it will get Android 9.

I came from having a Nexus 5, and I feel the OnePlus is probably the best choice if you want a clean Android experience, along with proper OS support, without paying a premium.

I was wondering this too. It's not clear whether you get a dash charger and cable with the phone without adding one as an extra.

Dash charger, 100cm cable, basic gel TPU case and instructions

Hoping the 6t or the 7 will get rid of the notch and have a pop up camera like the Vivo Nex. Lovely full screen with no notch.

The pop up is a gimmick to solve the notch problem but it's unsustainable. Moving parts and reduced waterproofing are not what you want in a phone. Can't imagine any other manufacturer going with it.

    Great piece of innovation though.

Notch wouldn't bother me at all. I'd rather see them improve the main camera.

I seem to have an issue with Dash Charging. Worked fine the first few weeks, but now I have this issue where even if I leave it charging all night it does not get to 100%, it will sit around 80%, now before anyone says "you do know it goes back to slow charge from 80% to 100%" yes I do know that what I'm saying it won't charge any further so it doesn't seem to take any more. It's as if it doesn't switch in the phone dash circuitry or the charger circuitry! I do notice that when dash kicks in say between 30% and 80% the usb c cable connector heats up considerably. I have found some history of this on Reddit with older models like the 5T. If I use a standard charger it works fine and charges to 100%. Anyone have similar issues with their One Plus phones?

contact oneplus and they might send you a replacement if it's faulty.

else try to flash the latest full rom again and see if it is a software issue instead of the charger

Anyone got any idea when the wireless bullets will be back in stock? Signing up for email notifications didn't work the last time, only found out they were in stock on this thread. By the time I got to checkout they went out of stock. Need a pair as my ear buds are lost but want to try and hang on for these.

I have the model that these replaced. Excellent sound and very durable. Battery life is very good as well.

Thanks, I'll look into those as I could be left waiting for the bullets.

A friend of mine is home in Ireland for a few days and would like to order this. Currently it has a delivery date of the 13th, he flys out on the 14th.

I guess my question is, how reliable are their estimates?
