    WHAT THE ****!

Some ending! I'll have to see how season 2 goes.

I kinda binged this show over the last week.
I almost did it over a couple of days as I was glued to the first two episodes.

Then in the third episode (mostly good) .. BUT.. it kinda feel down on the wall of believability.. or is it the suspension of disbelief.. or something.. but it was going fine until after the subway scene when it got to the nightclub. Compared to the show previous it just seemed to give up. It felt like it was one or a combo of the the production/direction/script which let it down.

The fourth episode was similarly poor. Somewhere between 5 and 6, the show started to recover and then that ending!

Checking Wiki, I see that the writers and directors of 3 were a change from 1 and 2 and then by episode 6, they were gone:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_Eve

Jodie Comer (Villanelle) and Sandra Oh (Eve) really made the show work though.

I watched the first episode, its an interesting one for sure. How does it work though, I mean the lead isn’t an anti hero type like Dexter for instance. She has no redeeming qualities worth rooting for so you want her to be caught at the soonest.

Eve is the lead rather than the assassin I would say but both characters become more layered as you go...and its fun as hell!

i liked the premise, but a bit too much feminist fan service though for my liking, lost interest in it by the end

I agree with you there - I'm only two episodes in but, perhaps with the exception of Eve's senior colleague, all of the men get made eejits of to some extent.

I think it's brilliant though - thoroughly enjoying it. I love the way MI5 folk just do normal office things like wait in the staff kitchen for something to heat in the microwave. :D

I see they had an advert for this after episode 2 of bodyguard...hopefully it gets some attention it is an excellent show (much better than bodyguard so far!)

I see Sandra Oh was nominated for a Daytime Emmy, but not Jodie - that's a travesty. She's the standout character and performance. We laughed out loud at her so many times.

Watched up to Ep 3 tonight and I agree, Jodie's portrayal is so charismatic and beguiling, she should be recognised. If you havent seen her interviewed, look it up, her own broad scouse accent makes her acting even more impressive!

In case you havent guessed, she has made me fall head over heels for her in 3 episodes flat ðŸ˜

6 episodes in. Villanelle (sp?) is a great character. Well worth the watch, I like the pace of the show.

Seen an ad for this on Saturday night and once I seen that kim bodina (the bridge) was in it I knew I had to watch it. Turns out he's not in it an awful lot but still a great show, already on the final episode. The girl that plays Villanelle is outstanding.

    Loved this
    Binged it all last Sunday

Jodie Comer is excellent as the assassin
Sandra Oh & Fiona Shaw great

Such a great feel to it - locations, music and the zippy dialog
Sure, suspend belief in parts but the most enjoyable show I've watched in a while

Finished this. I wasn't always sure how to judge its more whacky/bonkers elements, particularly with confrontation laced with humour. It seemed different to anything similar I've seen from the BBC (of late) and definitely different to say, Happy Valley's humour. I suspect it's something they very much hammered out in production/tone meetings and was a shift away from the traditional cold-hearted assassin thing, generally well done, and they really just went for it.

Also, Kim Bodnia's just got a tremendous laugh. Pure joy.

It is a great show. A unique atmosphere, sharp, wonderful black comic undercurrent, beautifully shot, superbly cast and acted.

The acting is great and I liked the tone but the further the season went it just got ridiculous.

Didn’t like the ending at all.

Overall if it comes back for a 2nd season I’d give it a miss

It will just encourage people to find it online if it does.

    A question from @Moderator????

Yes it is possible on some questionable apps to watch live broadcasts of the channel.

But must people probably use streaming sites/apps after it airs.

Against Boards rules to mention them in public forums. PM to me if you want to know them.

Or you could wait 3+ Months later to watch on RTE/BBC?
