Of course, the devil is in the details : is 2.2e/can, or 24 cans for 20 euro ( but not the slab, 'cause the slab bar-code scans @24 euro -> they expect you to take 24 individual cans from the shelf ( don't think there were so many anyway )
I had this issue before with carling. They will often have the trays elsewhere in slabs which are cans which should be on the shelf, i.e. the plastic wrapper has no barcode or advertising on it.

I see the bud/carlsberg is still valid tomorrow. Might suit some better and the sunday world vouchers are out tomorrow. That story of clarehall not accepting competitor vouchers is pretty poor form.

    Any 24 For 20.00 Save 32.56
    valid from 7/7/2018 until 8/7/2018

The LG TV was in New Ross. Not sure about others. TV is only 720p though

Bought the exact same items in my weekly shop as last week. Cost me precisely 6.32 more.
Best day ever my eye! Even allowing for the bananas having a slightly different weight, it was still a bit ott for a couple of random reductions and a lucky dip. I was ignored by the lucky dip host. She was only focusing on ladies and people with kids as another single gent behind me was also ignored. Everyone seemed to get tayto cheese and onion crisps anyway so no great loss.
No sign of any tvs either at 0830. Apparently they were gone immediately at 7 (if they existed).

Love annoying that scumbag on adverts about his TV. I highly recommend commenting, he's pretty easy to annoy.

Any of the 4k TV's still available?
In any of the Dublin stores? Thanks

They should fix their Tesco Clubcard boost website first... Whenever I try to use it for last 3 months or so it says "The Clubcard Boost bookings site is off line due to maintenance". Tried different PCs, browsers, mobiles etc. They also still have Movie Junction Drive In Cinema deal listed on their website but the cinema doesn't exist anymore.
I use it frequently, no issues, maybe clear your cookies, caches etc??

Bloomfield's Dun Laoghaire had the 'lucky dip' stand just inside the door but the banner said 'sign up for Clubcard' so thought it was only for new customers. Needed a euro for the trolley so was queuing a good while right beside the stand and the woman in charge of it spent the entire time chatting to a colleague, didn't seem to be promoting the thing at all.

They had lots of Pringles, the elite biscuits, Aero etc but considering the 'best day ever' thing it really felt like an anti-climax and completely unclear what was going on and very badly mis-managed.

They weren't taking competitor coupons in Clare Hall, had taken down all the signs for that offer... not sure if it's just for today or if that is the end of that - if so, 7th July is a sad day :(

    De feckers :D

Still decent deals on the booze, I suppose they knew 'certain' people would completely take the piss :pac:

They took it from me. I had two from supervalu and split my shopping and they took both.

    I've been getting
The Clubcard Boost bookings site is off line due to maintenance
    Apologies for any inconvenience
Please call Customer helpline 1850 744 844, we will be delighted to book it for you

    Opening times
    Monday to Friday - 9am to 8pm
    Saturday - 9am to 6pm

for months now. When I rang them a month or two back, they said they didn't know when it would be back and took my booking by phone. It's a bad omen.

Theres hope this isn't as crappy and overexaggerated a promo as it look like.

Someone on FB rang customer service and was told extra points won get added to the August mailing, won't show on receipt.

Assuming customer service actually have a clue and are right!

They mean the €10,000 worth. You don’t “win” bonus points. They’re shown on your receipt.

A better name would be Damp Squid Day.

Popped up to get a few bits, store was quiet, signs still up, but unless you liked crisps and mayonnaise, there were no particularly good deals and certainly nothing to get excited about.

Popped in around 4, not much happening. A lot of stuff sold out and no one promoting it or any kind of lucky dip stuff. Picked up a few of the offers that were, 2 boxes of shredders and a box of Pringles. Got my 5e off 25 for clothes only because I asked. Damp squib for me anyways

If they stop accepting competitor vouchers that will hit them hard.

Squid are usually damp. You'd have a problem if your squib was damp though!

Yes, pretty much a damp squib.

I did get some absolut vodka for €15, not a big vodka drinker but I needed to buy something to justify the visit on a hyped day!

Campo Viejo Rioja Reserva for €8

I got 6 bottles of Lomza beer today for €11, on a normal day it would have been €12. I used the euro saved to buy a bag of National Confectionary jellies. Best. Day. Ever.

Where did this come from ?
I used one today and signs up with balloons all around them saying we accept vouchers

A few posts back someone said they didn't accept them today and took down all signage relating to accepting them, hopefully was only for today in whatever store. I think the vouchers kill them on days when they are doing deals on alcohol.

I will be keeping an eye out for signage in store and ads in national newspapers to see if I just got a weird cashier.

Don’t believe everything you read on here, I used one today no problem
Taking the vouchers has been factored into the pricing and a way of pulling us away from dunnes and Supervalu
If my voucher was refused I would speak to a manager considering it’s a national promotion, can’t take the word of a checkout person who could be having a bad day
If I was the poster who was refused I would also complain to Tesco on twitter and Facebook and they will apologise and send a goft card

It was me. I was in Clare Hall. I was in a hurry but if it happens to me again I will press it. The cashier was very insistent that the promo had ended.

Complain on Facebook and Twitter, Tesco takes complaints very serious and will apologise with a voucher, I’ve had issues with them in the past and they are very good about resolving problems

Earlier I was only allowed by 3 bottles of spirits in one transaction, not one brand but one transaction, might complain to them, felt ripped off.
