Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Imagine this will sell poorly and prob be priced €100+ ??

Even though I wasant around when these lads had there hay day i quite like some of there songs and I might try and go to this but if it's too pricey I might think twice about it. Would a smaller venue like the Bord Gais or Olympia be more suited ??

**** didn't knw half of Yazoo are supporting

They seem to only play 12/13 songs

    They play the classics though

There songs reminds me of Xmas Party playlists as there almost always on It esp Shout, head over heels and EWTRTW

It will be good night I'd say in May

No way to tell really, if you look back in previous threads on 3arena gigs you will see standing tickets were held back, preusmably scaring fans into buying crap seats which might not otherwise sell. With some gigs it might take a few days before standing are sold again.

I wonder how this is selling ???

could be only a few hundred at it

I remember I was at a Nickelback show in the 3arena in 2016 and both the higher tier seating and the back of the standing area was curtained off. Could be the same for this

I think it's safe to say they'll be more that a 'few hundred' at it...
Judging by availability on TM, standing and lower tiers are sold out with only upper tiers still on sale.

not expecting that, didnt think they were that popular

I was born in 1989 so would not of been around for there hayday but there songs are timeless and it will be a decent show. Alison Moyett from Yazoo will be good too (i imagine she will sing Women in Chains with TFF ??)

only started listening seriously to tff a few years ago there music is so catchy and it will be a decent gig. The support act was the singer of Yazoo so more golden 80s stuff before hand. I was only born in 1989 so I'll prob be one of the young folk there

Should it be Tears for fears supporting Alison Moyet ?? Not the other way around

Actually looking forward to the gig on May 2nd, prob be nothing earth shattering but hopefully a good evening of music

Tears for Fears have been forced to postpone their forthcoming sold out UK & Ireland arena tour due to unforeseen health concerns and doctor’s orders.
RESCHEDULED DATE, @3arenadublin, 31 JANUARY 2019. Tickets for 2018 remain valid for that city’s rescheduled 2019 show. https://t.co/QwaqGKfT4h

It's been rescheduled so you'll probably need to request a refund if the new date doesn't suit.

If it was with Bus Eirean, then they will refund, but they'll charge €5 for processing. I had to do this when Erasure postponed their show in January and I eventually got the refund after about 6 weeks!!

Looks like all may not be well in TFF land again..

I hope those rumours are not true ,would be a right swindle if Curt isn't on this tour especially after the original delay.
The Killarney gig could be cancelled too ,they've sold feck all tickets for it ,it was announced far too late.
Hopefully it goes ahead with both members of the band as I have front row seats and was looking forward to it.

If things aren't going so well, I wouldn't be surprised to see both Irish shows cancelled since they're the first on this run of shows.

Give us a break - seriously - if I thought it was only one and not the original two - then I would cash in my ticket. I bought tickets possibly end of 2017 for the 2018 concert which we all know was cancelled and we've all had to wait a long time for the rescheduled concert. If after all this time it isn't the original two then I will be really pd off and I think as it's the first week of January - the least the Management team can do is be honest to their fans - who've waited too damn long. All these concert tickets cost a fortune and well in advance - so somebody gets to enjoy the interest! I'm travelling from Cork - staying in Dublin the night - it's not a case of we trot down the road to the 3 Arena - half of the country is travelling at great cost. Tell us the truth - NOW!!!

I wouldnt be surprised if Ozzy cancels too ,looking at the seating map ,only about half the tickets have been sold.

It should go ahead they could curtain off sections get

Remember was at nickelback in 2016 and it was a pretty small crowd. The standing section was curtained off

No matter how small the crowd they can adjust too it in the 3arena

Had a look majority out of curiosity - standing not available and nearly all lower block tickets gone and sure there is a number of upper block tickets available but the fact they are even open for arena metal gig here that is actually fairly good going.

Have seats for Tears For Fears could I get into the Standing section with them.

Standing is still available and there are loads of seats left .
Odd that they are showing that seating map for the 3arena ,Ive not seen it before ,basically shows every seat in the place.
I guess they will just close off the back section .

Yes and BlockA - 2 seats left
    Block B - 38
    Block C - 30
    Block D - 4
    Block E - 42 + 10 VIP
    Block F - 58
    Block G - 1 seat

Block L,M & K have sold a chunk so will be open for sure, nothing like you are making it out to be and tryed again "we couldn't find you a ticket" coming up when you attempt to purchase standing.

Curt tweeted the other day, “See You In Europe” indicating all is well, and this has been interpreted as - he is participating on the tour.
