So Gable got drafted to Raw but not Benjamin? I guess they’re going straight into that Jordan vs. Gable angle as soon as the former is fit to return to action.

or else they swap jordan to smackdown and put him in a tag team with shelton and flip it to turn out that gable is actually kurts son and not jordan :P

McIntyre got a much bigger reaction than I was expecting, especially considering they've aligned him with NXT Kryptonite, Ziggler. Their combo finisher looks great too.

Roman's promo might be one of the most phoned-in performances I've seen in a while.

Also, commentary is dogshít. Coach is the worst offender but Cole and Graves aren't far behind.

Roman, Roman, Roman. that was fúcking dire.

the content. the delivery. everything. just horrendous stuff. again, why the fúck are you getting a title shot?

Samoa Joe comes out and does a decent promo.

but why is even he accepting that Roman is being handed this shot. Joe said himself in his promo that the lad has lost not once, not twice, but every time he and Brock have faced off.
why do i need to see this again?
why is Joe not apoplectic that Roman is getting another shot?
why is Joe simply accepting that he'll wait until Backlash?

i hate the story of Brock v Reigns. like, passionately hate it. despise it. it's beyond insulting.

the Owens and Zayn stuff was decent. I normally go mental at shít logic, but I'm just about ok with it. it does make sense that they'd put their differences with Steph aside to get a job. they should explicitly tell the audience though.

Miz did ok. his delivery is fúcking brilliant, no denying it. maybe it's just me though, but I don't think I've ever believed a thing that's come out of his mouth. apart from the famous Talking Smack bit obviously. I can get on board with Miz and Bryan though.

The Singh Brothers are brilliant, and by far the only redeeming feature of the Jinder act. he's a fúcking cartoon.

Jeff gets rewarded for being an idiot again. and they'll be surprised when he fúcks up next time.

i watch this show, and there is barely anyone for me to really get behind and care about. i don't feel like i know any of them. they're all just puppets of varying degrees who parrot marketing lingo and catchphrases. even the 'Superstar Shake Up' annoys me. it's just a marketing gimmick. At the end of the Jeff match, Cole yelled 'he's in the dropzone', when referring to Jinder being left laying after a Twist of Fate in the prime position for the Swanton. i mean, fúck off.

Michael Cole has to, no matter how much money he might be being paid, hate himself just a little bit for the absolute twaddle that comes out his mouth every fúcking week.

Is that the first time Roman has been with the chest protector?

See, in the build up to Wrestlemania, Roman's "I'm here, Brock isn't" stuff made a bit of sense. After Brock beat him though, now it just sounds like Roman is just having a moan because it's the only thing he's got.

Loved Joe's line about Roman bragging about showing up to work but not getting the job done.

By WWE standards, that was basically Shakespearean.

And going to Smackdown: The Miz.
    That is all

That is a lot moved. Seeing the graphic of both rosters was funny, with so few on SD.

Absolution will be moving, though not sure what their interaction with Paige will be like now.
I thought at first that Jeff would move with the title now, but I think it's safe to say Seth will move unless we're meant to believe that Shane/Paige would agree to give away a champ without getting the equivalent champ in exchange.
Though it would be funny if they had agreed to take Jeff and Kurt didn't think of that when making the match, so SD gets Jeff and Seth.

Was thinking that out of all those guys in the 10 man match, not one of them has a feud so Finn, Seth or Braun could all move. Unlikely with Braun though

He manages to sound fake and a corporate mouthpiece at the same time

He's just never made things feel believable, whether it's his tone or his style you can always tell he's reading from a script and he's not calling the real action going on in the ring. People have praised him for his calling of the main event of WM30 but to me he just sounded fake, like he was told to be behind Bryan because that's how he comes across

Tom Phillips and Corey Graves are so much better, if we got just those 2 across both shows I'd take it in a heartbeat

"So Brock Lesnar ain't here tonight....." is starting to sound like the start of a terrible bit from a comedian.

Jonathan Coachman is really, really, really bad on commentary. I'm amazed he was employed by WWE previously as he's like someone learning on the job & has no experience whatsoever .

Beyond Graves shouting "gimme a hallelujah", that was the highlight of Roode showing up on RAW..

I did like how Cole had to pretend to be excited every time a new superstar was revealed. First time in a long time someone was happy to see Ziggler.

Well looked up results today. Didnt even watch any of it. Looks like a colossal let down.

Meant to say I was kinda disappointed that the superstars just mimed for that music video.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,058 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

As someone pointed out, now they're all on the same brand, when do we get the 3MB reunion?

While everyone else collectively groaned and thought Ziggler again :pac:

He is. Next week. For one week Coach is off doing some golf thingy.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,977 ✭✭✭HandsomeBob

Coach is only doing what he's told on commentary. We know he has the acumen to be a million times better as a "sports entertainer".

    Same craic with JBL.

Foley quit because he refused to accept it.

Hopefully that one week is the same as when Otunga went on a few weeks break too...

If Coach's research for the golf is as bad as it is for Raw he'll call it the "2018 Golf Thingy"

    Raw spoilers, probably:

"Well I guess Brock didn't show up for work again."

    Piss off, **** pheasant.

:pac::pac: Yeah, it's difficult to view Roman as the "working man" moaning about Brock getting preferential treatment, he's MR. Preferential Treatment! So says the past 4 WrestleMania main events despite vehement fan opposition :D:p

His (shìte) promo on Raw-after-Mania was basically "Got another title shot in a few weeks guys. How'd that happen?"

And they wonder why people can't stand him.
