shes gonna take time to build and get there. i wouldnt be going putting the title on her any time soon but a fued with someone like mikey james whos an old pro who can carry her a bit will help first, bring over natalia too and have her fued with her aside from that i cant think who without turning someone heel as i feel a lot of the current heels are still a little too green to be putting her up against.

hoping to see the iconic duo and Almas debut on smackdown tonight and sanity maybe

felt all the debuts/returns was overkill after a while

some year there actually going to run out of guys to move up/return and the raw/sd after mania will just be another meh show

Poor Apollo wont get a look in now as hes just a smaller version of Lashley and wont get over with the real lashley on the roster

what a fúcking terrible show. they're not even pretending to try to cater to their most avid fans anymore. they're just dialling the whole thing in.

as has been mentioned, how shít do you have to be as a writer, and how ignorant do you have to be as Vince McMahon, to allow Roman to say that line about the title shots. I mean, fúck off. just a few weeks ago, Roman was chastising Vince for Brock being Vince's 'boy', yet now Roman is openly admitting that he gets a fúckload of title shots.

and why is he angry that he got a title shot?
is it purely because he found out on the Internet?
and is that supposed to make me hate Vince, and have sympathy for Roman?
so I'm supposed to sympathise with Roman because he got a title shot that he's only just found out about, and has time to prepare for?

    just fúck off.

Vince, you're just insulting me now.

Good to see Joe back. he was brilliant, gave the fans exactly what they wanted. by far the highlight of the show for me.

Lashley, meh. who could possibly care?

Paige, even more meh. should I care? she was never that good, she's a bit of a tit, not very endearing as a person, and now has to retire. it must suck to have to retire due to a nasty injury, granted, but I just never liked her. the buzz about her was always lost on me.

Owens and Zayn. again, I hate stipulations being watered down and made absolutely pointless, meaning you as a fan know there's no point in getting emotionally invested. Shane and Bryan's win at Mania meant they left Smackdown. Big whoop. we all knew they'd be on RAW. ooooh, but now they didn't win a contract on RAW, so are we supposed to believe they're now leaving the company? NJPW? TNA? fúck no.

i can see what's happening with Matt Hardy a mile off. we all can. they'll have this run. they'll be no better than the midcard. Bray will turn on him. they'll have shít singles matches, and any momentum they haven't killed off from Matt already by just putting the 'two weird ones' together, will be killed off after their inevitable feud, just like all wrestlers they try to 'help' with a feud with Bray Wyatt.
    Rinse. Repeat.
WWE have utterly destroyed the Bray character. he never wins when it really matters. he's not dangerous. he's not menacing. he's not scary.

the tag titles, if we didn't know already that they were meaningless (as fun as the Wrestlemania moment was), they certainly are now, seen as Strowman seemingly can't be arsed with them. the cheer the kid got was awesome though. a better pop than Reigns has ever had.

as i say, on the whole, WWE aren't even trying anymore.

    because they don't have to.

You know, there's actually the seeds of an interesting story there.

Roman as Vince's unwitting poster child. Roman wants to prove himself, wants to earn the title shots, but Vince keeps forcing them on them. He accepts why the crowd get tetchy with him, cause he wants to earn it. From a character point of view, it could be interesting to explore how someone would feel when they know they are being treated differently, don't like it, and the struggles involved.

Unfortunately, they aren't thinking even 1% about character development and depth....

Roman is a boring wrestler though. His moves are cringing. That lock and load thing, Superman punches and **** spears. Awful.

They turned a fan favourite who gets cheered in Nakamura last night yet they still won't turn the guy who gets booed wherever he goes.

The thing about all these debuts and returns is where are they going? I mean no one has left so what do they think they're going to do when it's already a packed roster?

Bad news for some and we could see a lengthy future endevoured list come the summer

I keep thinking that nxt cant keep going as good as it is losing ppl to main roater but they keep recruiting the very best so as long as they keep doing that we'll keep seeing this. As it stands we have alister black, mr and mrs wrestling, ciampa, ricochet, lio rush (if he doesnt blow it for himself) ec3, drew mcintyre, tm61, fish and o'reily and adam cole baybay to name just a few to come up and thats only whos currently there too

When The Shield originally imploded, Reigns should've been tweaked, Shield gear & entrance music ditched, something along the line of The Usos current ring gear or even Ambrose's gear, and just have left him as the silent ass kicker, with maybe someone to do his talking for him.

I mean all the ingredients if you will for a solid main eventer are there, but it's Vince's (and maybe also Triple H's to a degree insistence in leaving him as is, is what's really infuriating), I mean IF WE on an internet forum can see his flaws on live TV every week, then I don't know what the blue hell those dealing with him on a day to day basis are seeing..

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,715 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

I think leople are looking for the flaws but because of how the WWE used him when Bryan was coming back. Even putting Bryan in a match with him for his Rumble win. Terrible idea. Should have kept Bryan off TV until Mania that year.

They further messed up Reigns by repeatedly pulling back and should have gone all in at the time. Had him beat Brock and revel in the dislike from those who boo him. Have Bryan challenge him and lose, again revel in the dislike.

They have two world titles now as well. He could be Universal Champion for a long time and sickening people so they are desperate to see him lose.

What they have created is apathy and that is never good.

The STFU chants didn't do anyone any favours. The States are strict on their censorship and considering this airs on the same network that dips out swearing on their shows like Mr Robot it could cause trouble and lead to delayed broadcasts in the future if it happens again.
Even post watershed has censorship. USA is basic cable so not as many restrictions but it's still airing early.

No way Jose and the "Jos-buds"?

Such a poor Raw. Instead of booking an interesting show they just wheel out a parade of call-ups and returnees. It's such a lazy way to bring people up. Take AOP, how about they debut after the new tag champs are crowned and knock seven shades of sh1t out of them?

And why the hell didn't they leave Brawn loose in front of that crowd? Reigns/Lesnar has hung over the last year like an inevitable end game that no one really wants, and now it's going to hover around for another few weeks. Just give him the belt FFS.

One fan completely blanked Lashley as he high-fived fans on his way back up the aisle. That was my highlight.

Also enjoyed EC3's reaction to WWE's posting a picture of Lashley on instagram

In fairness to Jose think he has the charisma to make it work. Rose very much seemed to playing a role against his natural feel

    Maybe that's a reason why they mention that it's a non-traditional audience.

The entire shake-up will consist of Raw and Smackdown trading Ronda back and forth.

I see Sky shows a Late Night Raw 2hr edition. What's the difference between it and the 3 hour version? Do they cut out all the rubbish or something?
